Be aware - if you stay here and need assistance, you won't get it. Worst customer service I've ever had. Check in was fine, the man at the desk was very nice. The apartment was a good size. But, Queen bed was just two beds pushed together with sheets over the top (so a dip in the middle, not a real queen bed). We went out for the day and came back around 8.30pm. Then we sat down and the three smoke alarms in the apartment went off. No idea why - we won't smoke, weren't cooking anything, they just set off. We managed to turn them off. Then it happened again 10minutes later. This time it took about 10 minutes to turn them off. There were peopl e in the hallway trying to see what was going on. My 4 year old son (being tested for ASD so very sensitive to noise) and 7 year old daughter were distraught at the loud noises and both were crying. I called the assistance line and had the worse customer service of my life. I called and explained and she said 'so what's the issue, just the noise?'. 3 alarms all going off at once getting louder, so yes, of course that's the issue. Then She said she was going to call maintenance. I was on hold for a couple of minutes and she came back and said, word for word 'I'm going to be real with you, maintenance isn't coming because they're at leat 4-6 hours away so theres nothing we can do'. I asked if I'm meant to stay here with alarms repeatedly going off and she told me to 'just take out the batteries'. 1- that's illegal, 2 - they're hardwired. I said I need a refund to go find somehwere else to stay, she said its not up to her. The entire conversation was just her saying 'theres nothing I can do im not on site im just reservations'. so why is that the 'help' line? They went off AGAIN, thankfully for the last time. But to be told that we can't get help, and to take out the batteries of fire alarms when we have kids in the building, is horrendous. The man at checkout was very apologetic.
