Iris at the front desk was extremely room and not helpful. Calling me a liar, would not refund my money for my stay. Horrible hospitality, along with raising her voice to me the customer. I do not appreciate how I was treated. So please know you will not get pleasant service if you are to book an event or conference at this resort. I had a co worker also check in before me, and was given misinformation along with no receipt for the stay or confirmation number and was told they were having computer issues.

Very nice, peaceful and very pleasant staff. We will return. The tavern was enjoyable as always and brunch in the mansion dining room was nice and tasty. This is not my 1st time here, each visit has been extremely nice and plan to return in the future

Property is old but in great shape for being a plantation era facility. One night was cheaper than getting a room at a hotel in town.

Quiet. Clean. Nice Continental breakfast with some basic choices. The wsitress was very pleasant to bring us some bagels as requested. Beautiful grounds to walk around and explore. Good food at the Tavern. Parking is tough. 4th floor is below the lobby...

The grounds are amazing, Darby’s Tavern is an outstanding restaurant with excellent wait staff and chef’s. The historical grounds and buildings are mesmerizing all the staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this place.
