Best property to stay in Havelock. We spent 4 days here in a Deluxe cottage. The room was on the 1st floor of an independent cottage with the room windows and the balcony directly facing the ocean. The room was quite spacious, the bathroom nearly the same size as the room (weird !!) and the outdoor balcony was again similarly spacious. Rooms are cleaned daily if you leave the key at the reception between 12PM to 3PM. Within the property, there is a well-maintained lawn with walkways which are great for sunrise walks. This resort has private beach access to the east-facing ocean, which makes it perfect to enjoy sunrise views. There are some good restaurants like Anju Coco, Himalayan Restaurant, Famous Seafood at a walkable distance from the resort. The biggest negative is the lack of room service. You have the option of ordering food at the in-house restaurant and carrying it to your room but beware that they will give you heavy plates, cutlery etc making it a pain to take it back to the room. However, the food was quite good, especially the local dishes section under the vegetarian fare. The breakfast provided is quite decent with around 2 Indian breakfast items ***** with cereal, bread, tea etc. You have to specifically ask the servers for any egg items and they would be provided complimentary.

When you stay at Placid Garden Resort in Port Blair, you'll be near the beach and 14 minutes by car from Elephanta Beach. We stayed here for couple of days during our trip to Andaman. As we were booked through a travel agent, initially there were some issues. After couple of hours of arguments things were smooth. The location of the resort is good, but in order to enjoy the sea you will need to wait for the high Tide i.e. usually during early morning. The food is very basic and you will need to order in advance, and sometimes it will also depend on availability in the market. This is true for almost all hotels in this area as resources are scares and everything needs to be brought from the mainland. Overall our stay was comfortable. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are helpful but you will need to push and follow up.

The ambience was very nice…rooms were also very clean…staff was also very polite and descent..the hotel is just 1.3 km away from airport….you can trevel to various places by auto like cellular jail & samudrika marine museum are both within the range of 5km…

Lets come straight to the point: They are total of may be 7-10 staff to look after 150 guests hence they are only for earning money and not for providing you a good experience. 1. Cleanliness - Will clean room only before you check-in and in later days you won't even see them, even when asked them repeatedly to do the cleaning, staff just vanished to never come back. The restaurant buffet table is actually bed for stray dogs and cats where next day they will be serving the food for you and worst thing is they don't even clean the table. Beach is very dirty, they don't care if beach gets filled with plastics and bottles. 2. Food - Tasteless, worst food of this resort, just 1 cook and helper is there. They'll charge you 500 for breakfast and everyday will give only Poori (made of maida) and aaloo chole with normal bread and jam. They don't server a-la-carte hence will charge you 400 for lunch buffet (roti, chawal (lowest quality),dal (only water), 2 sabji (no paneer/exotic dishes))- and 500 for dinner. Better to look for food options outside, we had our lunch and dinner in Annapurna hotel just 50m away to the right of this resort with good food at reasonable price. 3. How to fool people - Don't you go by name ”Sea View-with balcony” as no rooms in this resort is sea view and all the rooms from cheapest to costliest is having balcony. Secondly don't get fooled by seeing bath tub, water doesn't run from taps in bathtub it's just for making fool of us. A/C doesn't works from early morning 10 till evening 4p.m and the reason they will state is electricity is not their, hence sweat it out. 4. Service: The staff are rude and it seems they have done a favour to us by providing us room, if you are late by more than 30 mins, they will stand at your head outside your room as if you are a tenant who hasn't paid their rent from past 6 months and will ask to vacate you in very rude manner. DON'T BOOK THIS RESORT, CHEAP, MONEY MINDED, GOONS, WILL DESTROY YOUR HOLIDAY MOOD. Book Symphony resort instead.

As a property it was a awesome property... Luxury rooms.... Staff was Very coperative, we had a great stay here enjoyed allot service was also good.... Overall it was a decent experience.... Neat and clean property...

Though property is average and can b maintained better but the food is delicious and staff is courteous. All in all good property but there is some room for improvement.
