The hotel is located in eastern Part of Sosua named Playa chiquita which is quite calm and safe. It is close to attractions like ****** & Disco and public swim resort Santa Fe. The rooms have A/C, TV with live channels, safe locker with key and nice balcony. All worked fine. The staff is very gentle and the owner Henk very helpful. You can play pool billard and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere around the bar and the pool. Breakfast is also tasty and was included. The restaurant offers various tasty dishes for dinner. I can highly recommend this hotel with excellent rates

Good Bargain, Distant from Downtown Though
The hotel is beautiful and generally clean. It's location is far from downtown (about 1.5 km) and recessed on the block, which prevents outside noise. My room was fairly clean, though there were various strands of hair around the place. Vacuuming would clean better than sweeping. The entry light bulb was out, so replacing with a working light would be helpful. There is live music on Wednesday nights which go past midnight. The music is good, but it's loud, so if one is looking for a quiet, restful Wednesday night, that won't happen. The staff is responsive and generally accommodating, helping to make for a pleasant visiting experience.

Great place
This is my go to spot when visiting Sosua. The staff and owners are what makes this place great. The grounds, the pool and the bar are all really nice. The rooms are somewhat outdated but they are big, clean and the AC works great. It is also far enough from the main ***** that it is very quiet. For the price it is well worth it.

Wij hebben twee weken een rondreis met eigen auto gemaakt en hebben ook Hotel Voramar in Sosua een paar dagen aangedaan. Na twee eerdere ervaringen/vakanties in de Dominicaanse Republiek, (vaste plek in een resort), kunnen wij iedereen nu aanraden om een rondreis te maken. Prachtig eiland. Je landt op Punta Cana vliegveld, maar binnen een paar uurtjes zit je in Sosua. Prima te doen! In Hotel Voramar hebben wij een super tijd gehad. Henk, de eigenaar, zijn vrouw en al het vriendelijke personeel hebben het ons naar de zin gemaakt. Geen moeite teveel om direct munt te halen voor onze mojitos. Verrassend lekker gegeten in de avond, ontbijt volledig, heerlijk zwembad, en een super avond gehad met de karaoke! Gezellige bar aanwezig! En een bruisend uitgaansleven mogen beleven. Vriendelijke mensen allemaal. Hotel Voramar is ook een mooi uitgangspunt/centraal gelegen in het noorden, om naar Puerto Plata (westen) of Las Terrenas (oosten) te gaan. Of Santo Domingo (zuiden).
