I’ve stayed two nights in this fabulous hotel. Modern, spotlessly cleaned everywhere, the communal bathrooms with washer dryer, the full optional kitchen as well as the recreational area. There are rooms with codes on the doors so you are completely autonomous when it comes to check in or out. There is a big vestibule where you should leave your boots and wet jackets to dry and slippers are provided for every guest. I’ve been travelling alone and I’ve paid for 2 nights a reasonable price considering it’s Norway, aligned with the price I’d have paid in the UK France or Italy. I’ve paid in Norway reasonable prices for accommodation but higher prices for food. Staff very competent and friendly and keen on helping you with all the infos on the trails. The team at Lofoten Planet run an excellent operation focused on the needs of their guests/clients. Their facilities are excellent and priced competitively for the this much sought after Norwegian vacation destination and one of the most stunning places in the world. We were totally impressed by the expert care that the Lofoten Planet team provided us both before and during our stay and we gladly signed up for one of their daylong Mindful Hikes, taking us away from the more crowded trails to experience a truly beautiful adventure in near solitude. The Lofoten Planet team have decades of experience here, having climbed every mountain and trail on the island. We also signed up for their breathtaking 3-hour kayak tour, in cooperation with another local firm, of the nearby area including the local fjord. Thanks to their expert familiarity with the area they gave us spot-on tips about dozens of places to see on our own so that we could absolutely make the most of our vacation time, giving us exactly what we wanted and in the most helpful and positive way.

We spent a wonderful afternoon hikking with Erwin (Agata and Erwin own the Lofoten Planet Base Camp) going to Trolldasvalnet. Erwin is a great host. Great people to meet, very nice vision of life and people relationships. Eager to be back on their camp with more time!
