Hotel Belair

Hotel is nicely positioned close to the center within 10 minutes walk. Is very clean, as housekeeper will clean and bring clean towels twice a day. The only issues was some mold forming on one to the bathroom walls due to humidity. Just to be clear, hotel is not on the beach. You have to go down on many abrupt stairs until you reach the beach. The problem is when you come back as climbing those stairs can be somewhat tiring. If you get a taxi from the beach to hotel it costs 20 euros. I had a very nice Hugo cocktail at their bar. Next day at the pool I asked for another one. It was not even close to the one I had the night before. If you are a 5 stars hotel I recommend to keep the same around facility. Also, don’t book a regular room as they are not upgraded. Overall is a nice hotel but definitely not a 5 stars.
Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria
4.8/554 Reviews
Judging by previous reviews, people really love this hotel. I had mixed feelings. Yes, it is grand, with large bedrooms, beautiful grounds and a large, modern swimming pool. But it was too formal for me. The service was efficient, but not particularly warm. The room furnishings were not to my taste - peach satin curtains with swags and tails, yellow dralon sofa, brown furniture - a 1980’s idea of luxury. As we booked through Amex we had an upgrade, to a side sea view, but there was still an attempt to upsell to a full sea view at check-in. This is a particular gripe of mine. The hotel was half empty, so either upgrade to the higher category room, or don’t bother offering it. It’s a charmless way to greet a guest. Other hotels we stayed in on this trip included Il San Pietro Di Positano, La Scalinatella, Capri and Borgo Santandrea, Amalfi. For me, these 5 star hotels offered better value for money, more stylish bedrooms with beautiful furnishings and fabrics, and warmer service. But if you like a very formal atmosphere, perhaps the Excelsior Vittoria would be a good fit.
Grand Hotel Ambasciatori

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon 2 years ago. We thought the hotel was absolutely beautiful, the views were stunning, and the food was good. We did, however, have a run in with a member of staff. We had booked in for dinner at the hotel as we had done nearly every night for our stay, and there had been a storm. However by the time of our reservation, the storm had passed, there was just a bit of rain so we happily went down to the restaurant. I cannot remember the name of the waiter, but upon us walking into the restaurant he immediately started screaming at us to get out, that they wouldn’t be serving us, couldn’t we see the rain, all this kind of stuff and told us if we wanted to eat we should go into town. He did this in front of other guests who were all seated and eating, but my husband and I were in such shock we immediately turned and left. I was also clearly heavily pregnant at the time, so found this behaviour utterly abhorrent. It really tainted my memory of the hotel, which is such a pity because we had a beautiful time otherwise. Based on this experience alone, however, I wouldn’t return. I’d rather stay somewhere where the customer is looked after better than this. I’d urge anyone booking to know that for the most part, the staff were very good, so it’s really sad to come away with this review, but it was so bad and shocking I still remember it two years on.
Grand Hotel Royal
4.7/5100 Reviews
We stayed for 5 nights at the Grand Royal. The service, ambience and accommodations made this the most memorable trip of our lives. The landscaping is breathtaking. The guest rooms were clean and comfortable. Our sea view terrace was gorgeous. Enjoying the private beach was our favorite day time activity and the tunnel walk down to the beach is magical. The location was perfect - close walk to local restaurants and the ferry. We would like to extend special thanks to Mauro, Paolo, and Florenza for their outstanding hospitality. The gentleman at the beach club was also amazing (I didn’t catch his name). We had family staying at a different hotel nearby paying the same rate as us and their experience was far from as nice as ours. We will all stay at the Grand Royal next time. Thank you all! ❤️❤️❤️
Bellevue Syrene

Amazing place, I found this restaurant on tiktok and I must say it definitely lives up to the hype. The view is incredible and beautiful but the service and food is exquisite. Really attentive professional staff we got a lovely anniversary cake which was lovely. There was also a piano player playing redemptions of modern songs was lovely. They catered for gluten free and dairy free and couldn't fault anything about the food was delicious. Not to mention how beautifully decorated the hotel and restaurant is 10/10 recommend worth the spending in my opinion if you are looking for luxury.
Grand Hotel la Favorita
4.7/579 Reviews
What a sweet and unusual hotel in a busy little tourist city! From the staff that get to know your name on the first day, to helping with extra needs, we had the best customer care while at the Grand Hotel La Favorita. It's location is ideal, close to great dining and shopping and don't miss their sister restaurant a few blocks away! It's a hidden gem on the main walking/shopping street. It's like a magical garden with fantastic food and more great service. We did talk to a few others who said they get very crowded so dining earlier guarantees better service. Lastly, do'nt miss the rooftop bar with a beautiful sunset!
