The hotel has amazing views over the bay - an ideal location in beautiful Sorrento. However, it faces on to a very busy road which means we didn’t sit on our balcony very much due to traffic noise. The room was immaculately clean, the staff throughout the hotel are brilliant and simply can’t do enough for guests. The pool area is relaxing with the gorgeous views and sun-beds plentiful - reserving beds isn’t allowed which is a good thing ! Food choices at breakfast and dinner are good - again, staff make the dining very special.

We loved the Hotel Bristol perfect for our honeymoon. We stayed in room 601 which was high enough away from the road and close to the lift to the pool area. We booked with TUI and Rosanna the rep was fantastic the free walking tour that she arranged was a perfect start to exploring Sorrento. It's only a 15 min walk to Corsa Italia and not too strenuous better than I feared. Staff at the hotel are amazing and a credit to the hotel in all areas, great food amazing Ravioli/pasta and fish meals and breakfast was amazing every day. Pool is very deep so I think more suited to adults than children but their is a small kids pool and staff are really accommodating with the kids at meal time etc. But the star of the show is the view, even the view from our shower was amazing it was like looking at a picture postcard amazing! Definitely will be back!

Arrived at the Bristol Hotel on 11/07/25 and stayed half board for 7 days. The reason I booked this hotel was because of all the great reviews and I am delighted to say they were not wrong. This is an amazing hotel and I would strongly recommend it. When you arrive you are taken aback by the amazing view over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius! The hotel is beautifully decorated in a classical style. It is spotlessly clean and very well organised. When I first entered the bedroom I was a bit underwhelmed by the decor but it was so clean, had everything we required, good shower, very comfortable bed and balcony with that amazing view. The maids did a great job keeping it spotless every day. The pool area was lovely and peaceful and there was never a problem getting a sun bed no matter what time of day. The restaurant was fabulous( again with that view) and the service was great. Every evening there was a different menu to choose from and the food was delicious. It was table service which was a treat. But what made this hotel was the staff! They were amazing. They were such genuinely lovely people who couldn’t do enough for you and always with a smile. I would like to say a special Thank you to Grace at the reception who was very helpful and even arranged for us to watch the Wimbledon men’s final by setting up the big tv screen in the lounge. Thank you to Christian and Alissio who worked in the poolside bar during the day and the hotel bar in the evening. They were always so happy , helpful and welcoming. Thank you to Mariano the bar manager who was very attentive and friendly. Thank you to Luca, maitre’d, who always gave us a warm welcome at the restaurant and ran the restaurant so smoothly and finally to the lovely waiters Carmine and Gianluca for being so attentive in such a busy restaurant and of course always with a big smile. Once again another fantastic stay at the amazing Hotel Bristol. We’ve just returned from our 11 nights stay at this amazing hotel which will be my 46th return visit. The hotel staff are absolutely amazing and can’t do enough for you. The hotel is always spotless and the rooms are cleaned on a daily basis to the highest standard. Breakfast is one of my favourite meals with so much choice of both continental pastries, meats and cheese and English breakfast. The head chef is also there every morning to cook you any style egg of your choice. I personally recommend the omelettes which are amazing!! The pool on the 7th floor is kept to a high standard with plenty of comfy sun beds and stunning views overlooking the bay of Naples. Lunch on the terrace is a must or even my favourite Insalata Di Tonno at the pool bar which is also a good chance for a cool down before the afternoon sun. The restaurant in the evenings is well managed by maitre’d Luca and his team. The food is to a high standard with plenty of choice for all appetites including a variety of pasta and risotto dishes every night which is the passion of head chef Giovanni. The hotel itself has probably one of the best views of all the hotels in Sorrento and sitting at the bar every night is hard to get away from and leave. It’s only a short 15 minute walk into town so easy if you want to go out and there’s a Conad Supermarket just 5 minutes down the road if you want to pop out for anything. What more can I say but we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Sorrento now and we can’t wait to come back next year!! Thank you for making our stay as amazing as always. Grazie mille per tutti ❤️

Fabulous hotel , great location stunning views , extremely friendly staff from front desk to Porter with luggage to pool boys to restaurant staff , Clean rooms comfy beds , Chef at breakfast doing omelettes 1st class , great choice in restaurant everyday day , quick attentive staff at meal times . Views are outstanding Carmen & Raffaell so well mannered and a pleasure to see everyday . Loved our stay , I’m sure we will return .

Recently come back from our third stay at the Bristol and currently planning our 4th trip next year. The restaurant is the highlight of our holiday, the food and the service along with the smart presentation of all the restaurant staff is superb. Another warm welcome from Luca, the two Giuseppe’s, carmaine and the tall dark haired man(sorry never got his name). We requested a particular room due to its position and views and were given an alternative room with the same views. The views from the hotel are spectacular. Reception staff always was with a friendly greet and help with anything they can. Thank you for a memorable holiday Rachel & Ruth Woodward
