My husband and I chose this hotel because of the position overlooking the Bay of Naples and boy it did not disappoint. We had a room on 4th floor (405) which boasted a beautiful big terrace with the best view over the bay you could imagine. We liked that we were away from the hustle bustle of the centre but was only a 10-15 minute walk to get there. The Grand Marina on the doorstep has numerous bars and restaurants to choose from and the breeze from the sea was very welcome. We did eat out of the hotel some nights but actually, we loved eating at the hotel restaurant for dinner because aside from delicious food and wine choices, honestly the view from the hotel was just hard to beat and the sunset from there was amazing. The locals also take fishing boats out at night and do a fireworks display from the boats pretty much right in front of the hotel which is just magical! The room was really comfortable with a fridge and brilliant aircon, I have read some really awful reviews about these rooms and yes they aren’t uber modern but they are immaculate and so authentically Italian, the terrace and views more than make up for it. The staff at this hotel are all lovely, so friendly and kind and just can’t do enough for you. I think this hotel is a little corner of paradise, I really don’t know what the bad reviewers expected, it’s more than value for money and the breakfast and facilities were just perfect. Yes, you do have to walk your case along for about 5 minutes to get to the hotel because it really is tucked away where there are no cars or vans anywhere! Bliss! I honestly cannot recommend enough!
