We had a beautiful stay at Villa Oriana Relais. The hotel exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Staff were so warm and friendly and very accommodating, such a hidden gem. We took the train from Naples to St Angello station (one stop from sorrento) which is the closest station, then a 15 euro taxi to the hotel. We walked into sorrento every day which took around 20 minutes but we enjoyed the walk and its nicer have the hotel located in a peaceful area and away from the busy town. Breakfast each morning was wonderful with home made cakes and quiche from fresh local ingredients like lemons from the hotel orchard. We would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

Un immense coup de cœur – la meilleure expérience hôtelière de ma vie ! Nous avons séjourné à la Villa Oriana Relais et ce fut tout simplement exceptionnel du début à la fin. Un merci tout particulier à la personne en charge de l’accueil en fin de journée durant notre séjour : grâce à elle, ma compagne a pu être aidée après une petite blessure. Sa bienveillance et son professionnalisme ont vraiment marqué notre séjour. Le petit-déjeuner ? Une merveille. Tout est fait maison, avec des produits frais et savoureux. C’est plus qu’un repas : c’est un véritable moment de bonheur face à une vue magnifique. Les chambres sont impeccables, très bien équipées, avec du matériel haut de gamme et un confort absolu. Et que dire de l’équipe ? D’une gentillesse rare, toujours souriante, attentionnée. Un immense merci à Maria et à toute son équipe pour leur accueil chaleureux. Vous méritez bien plus que 5 étoiles. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

I would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone. I haven’t experienced such genuine hospitality in many years. It’s small and personal, which makes it feel all the more special. The location is about a 20-minute walk to the center of Sorrento. The walk down is easy, and while the return is a bit steep, it’s definitely manageable. Plus, the shuttle service from Hotel Cristina makes getting back up a breeze. The villa itself is stunning—beautifully furnished with incredible views. The bedroom was spacious, with traditional furniture and a large comfortable bed. The rooftop terrace was a highlight; we had it to ourselves twice in the early evenings before heading out to dinner. It’s the perfect place to relax and soak in the scenery. Breakfast was lovely. On mornings when we had early starts and missed it, the staff kindly offered us cake and fresh fruit upon our return. The women working at the villa are truly wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always ready with great tips to enhance your trip. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Beautiful villa, beautiful team, beautiful food. An unforgettable stay.
