Maybe I booked a basic double room, the facilities in the room are really simple. The breakfast on the top floor is OK, the layout is also old-fashioned. The view from the window seat is still good.

I stayed at this hotel with friends for 4 days 12 to17 may
It cost me £1192 in my room it had ants in the bathroom &round the to they wad there for 2 days the hotel is overpriced for the room that I got was out and needs updating the room they offered was 3 floors up but the lift was small & keeled getting stuck my husband is clostafobic in small lifts so we couldn’t go anywhere else
Very poor service not interested in solving the problem
No be recommend this hotel to anyone

Very nice hotel, atmospheric and beautiful. The men at the front desk are very polite and enthusiastic. It's a pity that the restaurant starts breakfast at 7 o'clock, and many customers are already waiting at the door, and the restaurant's door will not open on time at 7 o'clock, it will always be 2 or 3 minutes late, but the fact is that there are not many service staff in the restaurant. In fact, even if it is not ready within the specified time, at least the door should be opened on time, and guests should not be allowed to stand outside the door and wait.

Sadly the departure day impacted what was a lovely holiday. Great size pool and friendly staff at breakfast and on reception. Great location, flat walk to the centre which takes about 10mins, with lots of cafes and restaurants along the way. On the last day unfortunately I left my jewellery and perfume out when packing, when I realised I had not packed it I called the hotel who explained it was not there and TUI said there is no evidence to say I left it in room, I was informed in Italian law that if it wasn’t in the safe then I cannot report as stolen!!! All rather frustrating so please please ensure you double check before leaving, frustrated with self but also concerned at the lack of honesty from staff at hotel.

First time to Sorrento but hotel was ideally situated for the cost. 5 minute walk into the centre and the room was on the back of the hotel which meant there was no noise from traffic. We were first allocated a room on the ground floor right next to Reception but as every word from the 24/7 Reception could be heard, we asked for a different room before unpacking. This was not a problem. We were in a room which was still in need of refurbishment. the bathroom needed upgrading and some of the furniture needed replacing however it was adequate. There were a couple of issues....safe not working and tv not tuning in but were attended to within a short time. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were great with a huge choice every morning, suiting every need. Swift service and Maria was always very welcoming. remembering our names when greeting us and having a joke. Poolside was popular but beware of mosquitoes!!!!! Take spray with you....especially for the poolside. I would recommend this hotel for the price.
