Imperial Hotel Tramontano

This hotel is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. We had 7 nights here and everything about it was outstanding. The staff were lovely and so helpful, the ambience/decor is stunning. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was superb, well presented, tasty and the choice of dishes was excellent. The outside areas were fabulous with so many lovely plants and exceedingly tall trees, amazing views of the bay and Vesuvious, plus a wonderful pool area with a poolside barserving drinks and food. Our room was clean and comfortable with great air conditioning or doors opening onto a balcony looking out and across the Bay of Naples. Nothing was too much trouble the staff supplied whatever you needed and certainly put the guests first. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for next year,

Had a fabulous time at the Imperial Hotel Tramontano in Sorrento. Service was excellent, special mentions to breakfast staff and the poolside bar as we were well looked after. Reception and rest of staff also had high standards and anything we needed they were on to it straight away. Outside pool was just what we needed. Bedroom was clean and we slept really well. Location was good as easy to walk to restaurants and shops (of which there are plenty) There is a lift nearby with access to the beach which is private and not owned by the hotel so there is a fee for beds and parasols etc. We decided to just use the pool rather than the beach in the end. Excellent stay and recommended

We just returned home from a 5 night stay here. It really is a lovely hotel. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly and always welcoming. The breakfast is the best I have had in any hotel. Such a selection: fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, cakes, 2 different types of cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, cheeses....endless. choice of all coffees and tea and fruit juices. Or you can choose something from the menu which would cost extra (I dont know why you would as, like I say, there is so much choice). The pool is a lovely quiet area for relaxing. Pool towels are provided. There is a bar overlooking the pool for drinks and food. We had a couple of small beers, cost €6 each which was well worth it. The gardens are well tended. Our room was wonderful, very charming. It was more of a suite. Lots of storage space, seating area with chairs and sofa. Then 2 balconies both with views overlooking the bay with their own seats. Wow. There is a mini bar in the room which we didn't use as very expensive in my opinion (6€ for a small water seems a lot). But it's there if you choose to have it. Note, you are not permitted to use the fridge to store your own water. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant so I can't comment, there is just so many charming bistro and restaurants outside to be tried. It's in an excellent location, 2 minute walk to the wonderful lanes where all the food, drinks, shops are. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Beautiful.
