I paid the full room fee on Ctrip as a booking fee, and then paid the full room fee again at the hotel front desk. After returning to China, Ctrip told me that I would have to wait a few months to get the room fee I prepaid on the platform back. I was speechless!!! I was not satisfied with this service

Great hotel. Everything is clean, beautiful, tasteful. The location is convenient, away from the noisy center, so there is perfect silence at night. The staff is friendly and courteous. The men in the restaurant simply captivated us: kind, caring, attentive, especially Franco with his charming smile. True Italian hospitality! How delicious!!! My wife is lactose intolerant, so they customized all the dishes and compliments individually for her. It’s incredibly nice, thank you all so much! The room is comfortable, clean and the view is fantastic! We will definitely come back here! We recommend it to everyone from the bottom of our hearts.

Great place, simply put. The interior, the exterior, especially the terrace café where you can enjoy the sunset, the beautiful garden For the beach lovers, the elevator takes you right down to the sea area ( spoiler : only 5 hotels like this on the whole amalfi coast) And, breakfast is absolutely awesome

This hotel is amazing! All the staff are polite, efficient, friendly, always there to help in any way possible. The junior suite I booked was spacious, beautifully furnished with a massive comfortable bed, large bathroom with lovely toiletries, balcony with view over the bay and Vesuvius and a huge television with many international channels. We had half board, so after a plentiful and tasty breakfast, we had a snack on the “beach” during the afternoon and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the outside restaurant overlooking the bay. I had booked a trip to Pompei one afternoon, which was all arranged by the hotel, private transportation and guide included - both were perfect. Special thanks to Ms Ermelinda De Simone at Reception, with whom I organised the whole stay, and who has been so helpful, efficient and kind.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations! We were travelling with our adult children and their partners and had booked three Classic Plus rooms. Whilst these come with views over the front and side of the hotel and not sea views this wasn’t a problem for us. The rooms are modern and spacious with a small sitting room and the bathrooms have a bath as well as a walk in shower. I would definitely pick these again as I think they are bigger than many of the higher category rooms. We are lucky to have stayed at many lovely hotels but The Ambasciatori stands out with wonderful staff who are ready to help with any request and a family style charm. Breakfast which is included was delicious and catered to all six of us. We also enjoyed some delicious lunches by the pool and down at the “beach”. If I had any criticism it would be that the beach restaurant has a very limited menu but I think that perhaps logistics preclude a large enough kitchen for more sophisticated dishes. In short a fabulous stay. Our first visit to Sorrento but not, I hope, our last.
