Hotel Plaza

We have just enjoyed a really lovely week at this hotel. The room is well equipped and house keepers changed pool towels regularly. The beds were comfortable, staff were very friendly and we also enjoyed a breakfast most days. There was a variety of choice for breakfast The hotel itself is well positioned and a perfect spot to explore the local area. The roof top pool was nice and had a lovely view. I would highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Plaza. Right next to the Centro Main Sq, I can’t think of a better location. The staff was friendly and attentive, the breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were updated and fresh with modern furniture and bathrooms. Everything was super clean and inviting. We also enjoyed a nice lunch from the rooftop cafe and cooled off in the rooftop pool both of which have great views of Sorrento. We would definitely come again!!

This was an excellent hotel. The bed was super comfortable and the room was so nice and clean. We had a walkin shower, which is also very nice and a walk in closet. Loved the rooftop pool and bar. It is very close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

A perfectly placed hotel to visit Sorrento, minutes from the main square and a short walk for bus/ferry facilities. The room and hotel as a whole was spotlessly clean throughout our stay and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive at all times. The buffet style breakfasts were superb and always well stocked throughout the morning. We also ate at the Sky bar on several occasions and the food was delicious. Special thanks to Matteo who could not be more helpful or cheerful. The infinity pool gave a fantastic view of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius and was a great place to unwind, the toilets here were probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a pool area. The stay would have been improved if we had a balcony but overall could not fault the hotel.

The hotel did not inform us that the rooftop area was a building site even though we had booked nearly a year in advance. The sitting area and bar were being renovated. You had to negotiate this area to get to the pool, which was open, but there were only sunbeds, no seating. My husband planned to remain in the hotel whilst I went to Pompeii, etc, as he has mobility issues. Our room was directly underneath this building work and we were disturbed by noise during the day. His only options were to stay in the room with the work above or sit in the bar downstairs with the traffic noise. If we had know we would have booked elsewhere. We had no complaints about the hotel itself baring what I have already covered above. Our room was a good size and the bathroom had a very good shower. There are no ironing facilities in the room, but they were happy to deliver it to your room when required, as were the pool towels. The view from the balcony was nice. A big thank you to the lady who kept our room on the 5th floor spotless, 501. I think. Sorry I didn't get your name. Breakfast was good and the homemade yoghurt was delicious. Bar food during the day was very good, great shame it was not available after 5pm. All staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel has it all. The facility is nice, staff is friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. It is an easy walk to attractions, restaurants and shopping. The roof top bar is a great place to hang out for a while with a great view of the water and Vesuvius.
