The checkin and check out are done via a tablet. Nobody at the reception present. No one during breakfast. Very strange and with the shower curtains certainly a place I will not visit again. Been here a few times under previous management and hated the curtains, but now all is bad. Disappointed

Disappointed and Horrible experience. Booked a room for 3 and was given an extremely soft and terrible bed which left my daughter a bad body ache all day. Atleast have the decency to provide a proper bed if you want guest to leave with a good rest. We were there to attend a wedding. Dinner was nothing to brag about. The starter which was a fish dish was overly done. Nothing to say about the main dish and dessert. There was apparently 2 weddings that evening. The very next day at breakfast, when my family and I got to breakfast, there were no plates, no coffee, no scramble eggs, no bowls for yogurt. We were literally sitting around waiting for everything. It's the first time experiencing such bad breakfast service. On top of them, used plates and utensils were just piled up on a table. None of the service crew had time to clear the dishes away apparently.

I was hesitant to come to a hotel chain and to a property I am not familiar with. At the end, my stay exceeded my expectations. Everything was wonderful, the staff was very efficient, professional but at the same time friendly. The hotel felt chic but not pretentious. A hard to achive balance. Breakfast is superb. The quality deserves 6 out of 5! The only negative during my stay is that there was no espresso in breakfast, and ordering espresso is an extra charge. It absolutely does not make sense. There are even bitters like Jagermeisters etc on the offer in the breakfast, but on the other hand there is no espresso ! Senseless. But everything else was great. Also, in the room there was a nice Nespresso machine but a kettle will be a good addition. But overall this is a special property.

On arrival at hotel there was no-one on reception and quite a queue was forming. Then you are asked to complete a form to complete booking (strange in the age of digital bookings where they already have the info) After refreshing ourselves after a seriously long drive we popped into the restaurant to try and get some food. No you do not have a booking! I wish the reception has mentioned when we were checking in that the restaurant was busy and we should book or warn us it was full. Maybe it was a good thing as the town is lovely and worth a visit. The room was basic. But no air-con and the duvets must have been the full Scandinavian winter versions - HOT HOT HOT and no a great sleep. The hotel wants to be up market but falls short.

Combined two days of hiking with great stay at Comwell Sorø, the Recommend the Solaris deal with tasting of local wine and delicious dinner! Hike 1, 14 km near Roskilde: Bognæs peninsula/herslev bryghus/friisholm chokolade Hike 2, 10 km and few minutes drive from Sorø: Tystrup lake/Suserup forest, untouched since 1920. Both hikes (and orners) are mapped by Komoot app. Enjoy!

I stayed one night July 18th and I found everything met my expectations. Staff are friendly and helpful, room was quiet, clean and of good size (room 212). I especially appreciated the bathroom with room for my stuff (however, they do not offer shampoo, conditioner and hand cream, but only shower gel and hand soap). Lovely view and excellent breakfast. I would stay again, if I were to return to the area.

We stayed here at the last minute. It is in a quite and lovely residential area. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. Good food in the restaurant. Excellent nights sleep too. Breakfast was varied and filling.
