To begin with something positive, the hotel is in a real nice environment. Other than that, we were quite disappointed. We came away with the impression that the hotel is run by predatory investors who want to make a quick buck without reinvesting. The rooms are more or less ok, but bathrooms - while clean - are very outdated. The floor tiles on balconies (small or big) have not been changed since times immemorial. The hotel is terribly understuffed, consequently check-ins are grossly delayed, well beyond 15:00 on peak-days. The receptionist - probably aware of the impossible situation - can only parrot that "there is nothing we can do". (Lack of cleaning personnel!) On top of that on upper floors early in the morning - not that early, actually just before 8:00 a.m. - water is simply not available. The reason: the pool is being filled up... This is simply unacceptable! On top of all this, the hotel is not inexpensive at all, in terms of value for money really at the bottom in that area. Avoid unless you have no other option!

I made our reservation to this hotel on the 23. March for our family for the Summer. They were very pleasent to deal with very helpful sent our deposit straight away. Unfortunetly had to cancel because of medical reasons. Cancelation was made on the 3rd.April. The lady i was dealing was very nice took my bank details to transfer out deposit back. Since then no money and no communication at all. Send severeal email no answer from them!

Old, torn, sometimes not clean. Food is poor, empty buffet. Rooms are clean. Beds ok. Lack of airconditioning.. Should been renovated 10 years ago. Most staff very friendly. We booked half board bur went out for dinner. I would not recommend this place.

Untouched Interior from the 80s, very rude unhelpful staff.Hotel Fagus around the corner is 10 times better in every metric, in fact every hotel in Sopron is better. Been here every year in the 90s, i just went to visit again. It made all my memory of this hotel bitter.

Old and smelly hotel
Upon arrival, I discovered that parking is only available 250 meters from the hotel and I had to drag my luggage uphill. At the reception, I was told that as a Gold member, I am not entitled to late check-out and would have to pay 6000 HUF for it. The room was old and smelled bad. I do not recommend this hotel.

One night stay before a long flight
We've stayed numerous times in this hotel, staff is always great, food is good, panorama view to the woods is excellent. We'll return again.

The room was not properly prepared (lack of toilet paper, non-functioning safe). The food containers are empty 1 hour before the end of the morning period. It's not the first time we've been here, but we haven't experienced anything like this before.
