Scottish Planter Bungalow- Thema Collection

Far and away the single best hotel experience I’ve had in my decades of travel. The attentiveness, consideration. And professionalism of the staff are matched by the serenity, beauty, and distinctness of their location. 5/5 would do it again.

Our experience at Scottish planters was incredible.. we stayed there for 2 nights and it was never enough.. it's a lovely bungalow situated in the middle of a tea estate with marvellous views. On top of it we also got a free upgrade to the steuart suite..we were staying on a half board basis and the food was really amazing, Bandula the chef was at his best in the taste and the presentation of the food..my 3 and 8 year olds really loved it..we had western dishes most of the time and requested for a proper Sri Lanka breakfast on the last day and it was truly delicious.. Manusanka and his team were really helpful from the beginning, even before we arrived at the bungalow and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay there and did everything they could to keep the kids occupied and happy.. the best thing about the staff there is they are really taking efforts to make their guests happy.. If you want to take a break from the busy life and stay in a quieter place I would strongly recommend Scottish planters..it's really good for family getaways where you can book the whole bungalow and relax..will definitely come again..

Friendly staff and hidden paradise in hill country.food is amazing . Fascinating hotel in the middle of a tea plantation.this hotel should be everyonea bucket list. People who looking for serenity and scenary this is the ideal place. A paradise in the mist

We stayed two nights at Glendevon Bungalow. Glendevon Bungalow is charming stone house located in the middle of tea estate in the misty hills. Different kinds of birds are singing early in the morning. It was one of the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Food was exceptional. Different meals were perfect delight. Vegetables coming from their own very impressive garden. Mr. Madusanka and the team were so friendly and hospitable. We would highly recommend this place

When considering our stay it’s make much lovely with our requirements. Excellent place with warm service. We were able to request different meals and they did an amazing job by providing quality foods. A very beautiful, peaceful, clean lovely Bungalow situated next to a tea estate with a superb view.Mr Morgan is a valuable asset to the thema collection.Great job Mr Thennakon and chef. Would come again and recommend to others.

We stayed two nights at Glendevon Bungalow where we had a really amazing experience! Service and food was exceptional! Morgan and Thennakoon always greeted us with a smile and provided us with top notch service at all times! Bandula, the chef, provided us with the best food we’ve had in a while!! All in all we had a very pleasant experience at Glendevon all thanks to the aforementioned individuals and their commitment to great service! The bungalow and gardens are very well maintained and we would surely visit again!

It was one of the best experiences my family and I have had in Sri Lanka. I was lucky that I could book the whole bungalow for my family and friends (11 adults and 4 kids) . We were able to spend 3 nights at the place and it was a wonderful family getaway experience. I wished we could extend our stay, unfortunately for us, the place was fully booked. Specially the manager Manusanke took care of us like family. The Head chef made sure our meals were a perfect delight! ( I mean food was brilliant ) All the hotel staff were super friendly and hospitable (our kids were loud and playful) Staff were very kind and considerate at all occasions ❤️ Interior and the exterior (garden) was well maintained. We will never forget the experience. I believe we found our annual family getaway location. I would highly recommend this place. 💯

This bungalow is so beautiful and the garden is very well maintained with beautiful flowers . We loved our stay there. Their food is superb and staff is good. Can recommend to anyone who loves nature. Great for trekking and walking. Bungalow is situated in a beautiful place with a beautiful scenic beauty. Views are breathtaking.
