Planning a trip for five women is no easy task. Most hotels/B&B’s can accommodate up to three guests but a higher number can be difficult. Not with the Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn! Staff was so helpful and accommodating and they had just completed the Ohana Room which was for larger groups. It was perfect for us. It has a living area with a couch (queen sleeper), two chairs and a small table and chairs. The bedroom was spacious with a king sized bed with lots of storage for luggage. One bathroom which was roomy and had adequate counter space. Roll away beds are available. The breakfasts were delicious, staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Good location, It’s a short drive to Sonoma Plaza. Thanks Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn for a throughly enjoyable stay!

This place is just as cute as its name would suggest! There is a little bear out front to greet you. Reception was warm. The rooms are clean. The bed was really comfortable with silky smooth high quality sheets and memory foam pillows. They give free wine in the afternoon but we were always out so didn’t partake. The breakfasts are really good! They change daily. We had pancakes and scrambled eggs one day and a sausage scramble with fried egg the next. Things I would improve: the water pressure isn’t the strongest. And they don’t have enough parking in the lot for all the guests so a couple cars need to park on the road which can get busy.

Lovely place, with exceptional staff. New owners are making improvements. They have improved the outdoor areas and continue to invest in the inn. Nice wine reception and food. Great breakfast. Would recommend.

Lodging in Sonoma is expensive in season, so if you want to stay somewhere without spending huge dollars, this is a reasonable option. The rooms are clean, the shower stall old but works, the breakfasts great, parking on site, window air units work well, noise from outside street is noticeable without the fan on, backyard is lovely, the stairs to the second floor are steep. Not perfect, but not bad either, and probably the best value in season.

Husband and I stayed for five nights, including Memorial Day weekend. We had the Ms. Holiday room, which had a very large bathroom and was on the main floor, with a door opening to the beautiful patio area. The hosts, Karen and Larry were very friendly and made us feel at home. When we arrived, their wine and appetizer hour was in full swing. We enjoyed talking to the other guests and and were quite impressed with Karen's appetizers and hospitality. We had reservations at Sonoma Grille that evening (highly recommended), but stayed for a few bites and glasses of wine. The next morning, Karen made a fabulous breakfast, including homemade blueberry muffins, fresh fuit, followed by a quiche and fried potatoes. I am not a breakfast person, but during the five days we stayed there, we were spoiled rotten having eggs benedict, french toast, the best cooked bacon ever, biscuits and gravy, and many more dishes. I wish I would have brought my phone to breakfast to take pictures. She also made homemade cookies that she served in the evening and we found overselves having a few when we arrived back to the BnB after attending BottleRock. Fortunately for us, we were able to have our stay during Karen and Larry's management. ****Their last day was June 1st as they are moving onto different opportunities. Hopefully the owner will find another fabulous couple to host the place.**** They really made us feel like family.

This was the most bizarre experience. At 8:15 pm I wanted to take a shower. Could not figure out how to get shower to turn on. I called the cell number given on the check in form and just got an answering machine. I went into the Bed And Breakfast lobby. On the left was a widely open door (with their dog going in and out) that led into a sitting room with a TV on. I was not sure if this was private or public area so I just stuck my head through the door and called "hello, is anyone there" . After a bit there was a string of curses (!!!) which came through an inner door. Remember this is not late, it is now 8:20 at night. The curses went on for a while then a male voice said "Goddamn it what is the problem" . I explained that I couldn't get the shower to turn on. Another string of curses then he said he was coming and all went silent. I retreated to the front door. After 10 minutes and no appearance, I again went to the door to the living area and called out "hello, are you coming?" which was responded with another "well, goddamn"...more curses..then "just wait, I was asleep and have to get up at 4 to cook your goddamn breakfast". Wow. And breakfast is not until 8:30 in the morning...He finally appeared and followed me to my room which was a free standing cabin outside. Halfway there, I noticed he was no longer following me. I returned to the lobby and called again. His wife now answered and said he was not there so I went back to the room. He was now in the tiny bathroom and said the shower was working fine. I asked what the problem was and he said none and I asked him to show me how to turn it on. he came out of the bathroom right into my face and said aggressively "how many nights are you staying????) (that was the only night so I guess he meant that it was running so he didn't need to show me anything). Turns out you had to pull the handle really hard straight out to get water to go on. Tight enough that I could barely do it. I have never been sworn at in a hotel before. Both he and his wife drank a lot of wine during happy hour so there may be a alcohol problem. The breakfast was great. The next day neither he nor his wife mentioned anything about the previous evening's bizarre events much less apologized. Room not clean with dirt in entryway, hair in shower (I have grey hair, this was black) and scum ring on shower shelf

We booked a room here, as it was one of the few available at the last minute. I figured it would be OK based on the mostly good reviews I read, but unfortunately our experience was not positive. The place is dark and run down with lots of peeling paint, older carpet, and older bathroom fixtures. I can generally overlook those types of things if a room is comfortable, but the dealbreaker that leads me to write this review is that our room was just not clean. The rug had clearly not been vacuumed in a very long time, the bathroom had mold issues, and the window could not be opened to air things out. Our towel mat was either actually dirty or was just so old that it appeared dirty. I can't comment on the breakfast, as we were in such a hurry to leave that we didn't stay for it.

Lovely breakfast and happy hour spread, fabulous wine, comfy bed. But don’t tell Karen any inclusive liberal views unless you’re prepared for being berated for trusting in grace, accepting diverse viewpoints, and loving all people. Her last night attack on my spouse’s viewpoint kind of ruined the two beautiful days we’d had
