Dit charmante, gezellige en traditionele logement met faciliteiten van een modern hotel ligt in een aangename oase van rust te midden van een ongerept berglandschap. De ontspannen (zolang geen tegenligger zich aandient) en mooie aanrijroute gaat door natuurschoon, platteland en kleine dorpjes. De laatste paar honderd meter naar het landgoed is onverhard. Het gebouw, terrein, tuinen en ruime parkeerplaats zien er goed verzorgd uit. Zo ook het buitenzwembad waar gebruik van kan worden gemaakt. De ontvangst (allereerst door de hond Mel, later vergezeld door 2 kattenvrienden) is allerhartelijkst. De vriendelijke eigenaar geeft veel informatie over het eiland en bezienswaardigheden en begeleid daarna naar de kamer. Een ruime kamer in rustieke stijl. Heerlijk groot 2 persoons bed, fijne badkamer met amenities, koelkast met verfrissingen, bureau (waar een heerlijk welkomstdrankje staat) , bank, strandspullen (parasol en strandtas, heel handig!), goede WiFi, plafondventilator en airco (zonder tijdslot). Ook staat er een koffiemachine (Dolce Gusto), geen waterkoker. Een prima eigen terras met uitzicht op de berg. Er vindt iedere dag een kleine schoonmaak plaats en het bed wordt opgemaakt. Handdoeken worden desgewenst vervangen. Het ontbijt op het terras met uitzicht op het berglandschap en in heel de verte de blauwe kuststrook is erg goed. Tafels zijn met goed restaurantlinnen gedekt. Dat draagt tezamen met het uitzicht bij aan de sfeer en uitstraling. De keuze aan het buffet is ruim genoeg qua brood, patisserie, fruit, drankjes, koffie, yoghurts, diverse beleg, heerlijke roereieren etc. Dit alles begeleid door de bijzonder vriendelijke gastvrouw. Op enkele kilometers afstand, een minuut of 10 rijden met de auto, zijn diverse stranden (Cala’s) te vinden. Lekker gegeten hebben we met name in Cala d’Or op zo’n 20 minuten rijden, bijvoorbeeld bij La casa de las flores, restaurant Bon Sol en restaurant Cala Ferrera (Bar Maria). Verder uitstapjes gemaakt naar Palma de Mallorca, Alcudia, Playa Sa Coma, Capdepera Lighthouse, Soller. Bedankt voor een bijzonder prettig verblijf en wellicht tot een volgende keer!

We had a wonderful experience at out 4-night stay at Es Picot! Very clean rooms, accompanied by all necessary comforts and the hospitality was top notch. Breakfast was taken care of just as well! There was even a charging port for my EV that we could utilise every night! Will surely be back sometime.

This place is truly delightful, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The room was spotless and well-organized, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was lovely, and the view of the sea from the breakfast area added a special touch. The environment is peaceful and serene, largely due to the fact that most guests are couples, creating a quiet and relaxing ambiance. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The pool is well-maintained and clean, with plenty of sunbeds available for guests to enjoy. It's worth noting that a car is essential for reaching this location, as access is via a single road. However, the effort is rewarded with nearby romantic and tranquil beaches, as well as easy access to Santanyí, Manacor, and Cala D’or, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration. In summary, this place is stunning, and I highly recommend it, especially for couples seeking a peaceful retreat.
