An excellently managed hotel.
Have stayed at this hotel (former railway station) a number of times now and cannot fault it. It is well maintained, set in lovely gardens with beautiful trees. The swimming pool is secure and surrounded by comfortable sun beds with towels supplied.
Our room was in the garden with a small outdoor but quite private area with a table and two chairs. The bedroom was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and spacious wardrobe area and small desk. Air conditioning was very effective and silent. A separate toilet and spacious bathroom with a walk in shower added to the overall sense of space and the walls and curtains were in modern neutral colours.
But what really makes this hotel stand out is the management and staff: courteous, attentive, professional and friendly. Little touches such as escorting you too your room and offering to take your bags are truly appreciated. Although we did not avail ourselves of the breakfast this time, (because we went to the local antique market at the crack of dawn) past experiences were extremely favourable.
This is a hotel where you genuinely feel welcome and one where you can actually see the management and staff take pride.
