My partner and I spent an unforgettable two days last May in Somlóvásárhely at the Kreinbacher Birtok, one of the best hotels in the Balaton Highlands! The location and atmosphere of the hotel is excellent, an integral part of the atmosphere around Somló. The silence of Somló speaks and talks! The size of the rooms and bathrooms is sufficient, the interior design speaks of viticulture, vineyards and wines! The infrastructure of the rooms is of high quality, the beds, mattresses and pillows are good! Breakfast was part of our package, the breakfast options were also great, the champagne butter and the usual breakfast champagne in quality hotels was a worthy framing for the morning delicacies! The estate tour and wine tasting were also professional, with Sándor Márai and Béla Hamvas being evoked by the tour guide! Champagne production is based on the modern foundations of French champagne production! The staff were not only friendly but professional! The hotel offers excellent value for money, we had a great time, would recommend to anyone, we will be back. The only criticism we have is about the plans to expand the estate: the Kreinbacher Estate is already 'out of proportion' with the ecosystem of Somló and its surroundings in its current state, and any expansion is certainly not desirable.

Außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll ist die moderne Architektur dieser sehr großzügig und einwandfrei hochwertigen Anlage. Ein weiteres Highlight ist das Top Niveau der Küche wie auch im Service. Einzig: beim einchecken haben wir gefühlt +10 Minuten gewartet, bis die vielleicht noch nicht so routinierte Dame die Wünsche eines vielleicht nicht einfach zu beratenden Gastes umgesetzt hat. Resümee: optisch und kulinarisch überdurchschnittlich beeindruckend und preislich fair.

The best hotel in Somlo! The staff is amazing and absolutely friendly! The room size is good, the decoration is about wines and vineyards! The bed and the pillows are good! The only downside is the wall fixed hairdryer in the bathroom. The dinner menu is superb ( we tried the degustation menu which was an absolute gastronomic trip of flavors and colors and smells! The breakfast options were great, and the champagne in the morning is something special! The estate tour and wine tasting was like listening to a fairytale! We had great time!

Originally we wanted to stay at the estate, but later on we decided to have lunch only. What an amazing experience!! First class, attentive service-excellent food made to perfection with high quality ingredients Yes, it’s pricey.. but absolutely worth it! Thank you for the memorable lunch
