Outstanding service and luxury. The owners personally received and welcomed us. It was the most comfortable stay and bed in the whole time we were in South Africa. The electric blanket on the bed was a welcome touch and they are set up with back-up power and do not have power cuts. Highly recommended stay in Somerset and surrounds.

Our stay at Blaauwheim Guest House was absolutely delightful, as always. The owners are truly lovely people, making every visit feel incredibly welcoming and warm. The rooms are exceptionally spacious and beautifully furnished, providing a comfortable and luxurious retreat after a long day. And the breakfast? It's genuinely something to look forward to each morning – a delicious start to the day that never disappoints. Blaauwheim Guest House has truly become a second home for us when we're working away. We can't recommend it highly enough!

Nach zahlreichen Aufenthalten in der Vergangenheit habe ich auch in diesem Jahr wieder eine wunderschöne Zeit im Blaauwheim Guset House verbracht. Dieses Guest House ist schon vor mehr als 10 Jahren zu meinem "Home away from Home" und zu einem festen Bestandteil meiner jährlichen Reisen nach Südafrika geworden. Für mich ist Blaauwheim eine reine Wohlfühloase der absoluten Spitzenklasse in der es an nichts fehlt, ein wahres 5-Sterne Guest House. Die Unterkünfte in Form von 2 Suiten mit Terrasse bzw. Balkon sowie einem geräumigen Doppelzimmer sind komfortabel eingerichtet und "spotlessly clean". Alle Zimmer haben einen schönen Blick auf/in den sehr gepflegten Garten mit seinen "Haustieren" (Eichhörnchen, Chamaleons und exotischen Vögeln. Die Zimmer sind perfekt eingerichtet und verfügen über sehr komfortable Betten und mehr als ausreichenden Stauraum in Einbauschränken und TV. Die beiden Suiten bieten ein separates geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Wohn-/Esszimmer mit gemütlicher Couch und zwei Sesseln, ein weiteres TV sowie ein Essecke und eine moderne, großzügige Küchenzeile. in der es an nichts fehlt, mit großem Kombi-Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Geschirrspüler und allen erdenklichen Küchengeräten und Geschirr, eben wie zuhause, und alles untergebracht in einer modernen Einbau-Küchenwand, die sich geschmackvoll dem übrigen Dekor des Raumes anpasst. Erwähnenswert auch das separate, große Gäste-WC. Die Bäder der Suiten sind großzügig ausgelegt mit großer Eckbadewanne, separater Duschkabine sowie zwei Waschbecken und einem Bidet, alles sehr sauber gefliest. Ein Highlight im Blaauwheim Guest House ist zweifellos das tägliche Frühstück, frisch serviert auf der überdachten, offenen Terrasse des Haupthauses. Der mogendliche Obstteller ist dabei nicht nur ein reiner Augenschmaus. Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der beiden Gastgeber Jo-Anne und Johan sind besonders hervorzuheben und machen jeden Aufenthalt im Blaauwheim Guest House zu einem Besuch bei Freunden.

I had a great stay at Blaauwheim! The hosts were accomodating, pleasant and professional! The suite itself was spotlessly clean, and had every comfort and convenience I could have needed! The breakfasts were superb, and exquisitely presented. The setting was safe and very pretty. I would highly recommend Blaauwheim and will definitely stay there again myself!

Unheimlich nette Gastgeber. Tolles Frühstück. Perfekte Sauberkeit. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen. Sichere Umgebung. Absolut individuell, da nur drei Wohneinheiten. Die Obstteller von Johan sind legendär. Unbedingt höchste Punktzahl.

Best questhouse ever ! Big luxe appartment Very good long kingsize bed , 2 toilets airco , big terrasse with sunbeds Very good breakfast with a lot of frehs fruit / bread eggs eveything you want . Verry save ! A lot of good advises from the very nice kindfull Johan and Jo-anne Good location!very clean! Do it and you will enjoy it really
