É um hotel excelente, mas com uma necessidade imensa de renovação. As salas de eventos ainda são de carpete e cheiram mofo. O staff é maravilhoso, motivo pelo qual eu voltaria outras vezes. Os restaurantes que exigem reservas são ótimos, especialmente o japonês que foi o meu favorito.

We stayed here for 5 days. As soon as we got there, I mean literally right as we walked into the lobby for the first time, my wife and friend were harassed by one of the membership guys trying to sell stuff. We told him multiple times we weren’t interested and he started following my wife and her friend aggressively saying “I just want to know why. Can you give me an answer?!” He even tapped on my friends shoulder who was walking away from him after she told him no. I finally stepped in and he started yelling and saying “why are you being disrespectful?!” “Is this how you treat people at your work?!” Then he continued arguing with one of my female friends in Spanish. He’s lucky we were in a different country, that’s all I will say. I posted a review on google 30 minutes after that interaction and someone commented and asked us to stop by the hospitality desk so they could make things right. On day 2 we went down to the blue lobby and there was a young lady who had blue highlights in her hair working the front. We showed her the hotel’s response to our review and asked here where the hospitality desk was located and she said she didn’t know. Absolutely appalling. I will NEVER come back to this place. Which sucks because my wife enjoyed our stay(outside of the initial interaction) and wants to plan a large get together for her dads 65th next year(15+ people) at this property but I am convincing them all to look at different ones solely because of this. Thanks for ruining my vacation, legendary sales rep. Anything but legendary is what I got.

Travelling with two kids aged 4 and 6 and partner for 10 nights. The good: 1. Gorgeous resort, always kept clean, staff are so friendly and keen to help with drinks and service constantly and do it with genuine warmth. (Tips obviously help). 2. A few mentions for some exceptional staff members - in Isla, Napoles, Bryan, Victor and Ricardo always made sure my family were well looked after, especially as I’m allergic to gluten and look this very seriously 3. Fernando in concierge. Such a heart warming person and so keen to help. 4. Teresita, Luis and Margarita at the blue pool were amazing. 5. David and Paty at Frida went out of their way to make sure we could get what the kids wanted to eat- even if it meant that she had to go to another restaurant so the kids were kept happy! 5. All the restaurants were great - incredible quality including in the buffet dinner shows. Entertainment is top notch. 6. Vibe city is amazing for kids and the water park. They should sell socks for those who forget to bring them- could be a cheap money spinner too! The bad: 1. The rooms are so small - it does not work for a family of 4 and I find it surprising that most of the resort is like that. 2. I would go back to this resort if it wasn’t for the sun bed situation. The sun bed were all taken come 9am- sometimes by 7am. With lots of reservations but no one around. The pool boys did their best (again tips help) to accommodate but this is a big no no for anywhere that purports to be 5 star. It should not be a scramble to get a subbed when everyone wants to be by the pool. Having said this- it is ok by the lagoons. I’d like a conversation with concierge about this as this needs to be improved. Overall it’s a great hotel and top notch for food and drinks. Wine in the all inclusive could definitely do with improving but there are plenty of other options for cocktails etc. It would be great if there was some chilled music before 11am rather than loud music all day long but it is the hard rock. The room size and sun bed wars are off putting though so definitely something to bear in mind despite how lovely the staff are.

A severe disappointment from our last visit here. Dancin Doug Travel is the group l Travel with. When we came here a few years back, the place was wonderful, so when it was announced that we would be returning l was very excited and shared same with my wife of 17 months. Imagine the surprise once we got got there. Instead of being greeted at the one of the main buildings(Azul/Bkue) we were greeted at the convention center where a mockup check in area was set up...unappealing. Here is a list of additional disappointments: Mold and musty smell in our room. With my wife's breathing challenges this was very concerning. Two weeks after being home our luggage STILL smells like that room. (Pictured) Peeling headboard...for the price paid, this was highly unacceptable. No washcloths- how does a resort run out of washcloths? We had to use large hand towels to bathe. No hot water. Non functioning toilets Intermittent power and internet outages in our room and in the dining areas. Non working elevators Not enough bartenders to service the patrons at the Adult Only pools Food not fresh at some dining establishments/recycled from prior meals/days Groundkeeping lacked attention; animal feces stayed in hallways for DAYS (Pictured) Falling/missing moldings from balconies Hard Rock Riviera Maya has taken a severe setback from the prior visit..A resort upgrade is fully needed here..A positive note is that the Thai restaurant was absolutely wonderful. Based on this experience l cannot see how this could be viewed as a 5 star resort without some MAJOR upgrades!

Buena experiencia inorvidable la mejor parte fue la antenciob al personal espectacular tanto de nuestros mayordomos que fueron lucio y bernardo cuales solucionaron nuestras dudas y nos ayudaron, lo único cual mejorar es la comida un punto cuál no es muy señalado pero en mi opinión si se debe mejorar y también las habitaciones cuáles cuando llegamos fueron deterioradas pero en general muy bueno el hotel recomendadisimo los felicito
