I visited the El Dorado Maroma with my friend for a week in January 2023. Believe me, this is the best resort ever! I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area, and this resort outranks all others! The service is simply amazing, from the second you arrive until you have to leave.
We absolutely loved Manuel at the beach, who greeted us each morning and walked out with us to help us find the perfect spot for the day. He didn’t just hand us our towels - he laid them out for us on the loungers or the bali bed chosen, then adjusted the umbrella so we could be in the shade, as we preferred. He then continued checking on us throughout the day and adjusting our umbrella as the sun moved. Talk about being pampered! He was wonderful! We also loved Little D (Diego) at the beach, who brought us drinks and made us smile - he seems so happy to be there!
I can’t forget to mention the beach - it is the best beach of any resort I have stayed at! Clean, white sand, and so few people. That’s another great thing about this resort - no crowds!! It is small, quiet and relaxing. So peaceful! If you want a party resort, this is not it. It was perfect for us!
Overall, you will not be sorry if you choose this resort!!! We loved it and will return again, hopefully soon, and hopefully with my hubby next time! I can’t wait to hear those wonderful friends tell me “Welcome Home”!

This was our eighth time to El Dorado Maroma and it did not disappoint. Be sure to hang out with the activity staff, led by Alex, Hazel, Chris, Gustavo, and Graciel. a highlight of every trip is playing beach volleyball with these guys, be sure to order tequila shots between sets, you’ll have the best time ever. The bar tending staff is amazing, definitely make time to enjoy a mango tango on the beach.

We were spoiled and pampered from the moment we arrived! The staff was so attentive and friendly, remembered our names and felt like family! The bungalows and views were gorgeous! If there were any downfalls, I would say they are a little too close together so when on your sun deck there isn’t much privacy. Also, when first entering the walkway there was a stinky ocean smell, but once we walked further out it was gone.

4th time returning to this resort and will come back next year as well. The entertainment team is absolutely the best in the business!!!! They make you feel part of it not like a tourist. Big Shoutout to Alex, Haziel, Grisel and Gustavo. For our favorite restaurant Papitos, Agustin and his team really go out of their way to make this place feel special and unique all the way around!!

A return trip to a wonderful resort. Aimee, Samantha, and Alberto in particulars were stand outs on this trip. Each bungalow ensures wonderful views and memorable experiences. Food is out of this world as well! Definitely more of a relaxed vibe overall, but it does it exceptionally well!

The level of preparedness, attention to detail, and service quality exceeded our expectations. The property is immaculate and perfectly maintained. The food quality, presentation, and service at the Palafitos restaurant was beyond impressive. We read other reviews and did not bother to try eating anywhere else our entire stay. Palafitos has so many wonderful staff who are the best at what they do and made our vacation memorable. Bell boy Alberto and our butler Liz were ready waiting for us and highly aware of the stresses of “travel day,” but they made it a breeze and helped get our vacation started immediately. Check-in was the most efficient and fastest “drink in hand” process ever. Our servers Erik, Julian, Fernando, and Bertine, were simply the best—not the best at an all-inclusive in Mexico—the best service we’ve ever had anywhere. Overall, all the staff’s personalized service is what makes this resort and experience so great. Our one and only area for feedback was regarding towels. It seemed odd how difficult it was at times to get new towels or chair covers. Perhaps stock extras in the rooms for guests. Other than that one trivial detail, zero to complain about and everything enjoyable and far exceeding our expectations.

We stayed with a big group for our a family birthday party. The things that really stuck out for me was my spa experience with Cielo and the activities with Gustavo and the team, Haza, Alex, Gris, Chris and DJ Chris. These amazing people had so much energy and joy. They made every activity so much fun, even if we just enjoyed watching the volleyball game or exercise. They brought a lot of great energy to every day of our stay! Ceilo was very attentive in the spa, she helped with my sore shoulder from carrying my kids and gave me a Caribbean style braid during my facial that I wore for the last few days of my trip! It was very cute and I was so grateful for that extra service and care. Muchas gracias!!

Overall the resort was absolutely amazing! The views, the landscape, and hospitality were exceptional. Th entertainment crew had plenty of activities planned for all ages! The beaches were always cleaned the morning before! Will be back for sure!
