The lodge was rough bathroom needed a remodel shower was very small hard to wash feet no room to bend over. Toilet seat did not match bowl size

Night out in New Hope The hotel is conventiently located near downtown New Hope. While it is an older property, it was well maintained and clean. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again next time I am visiting the area.

This is a 1950s motel that has been lovingly renovated. They have taken great care to preserve the vintage aspects. Our had old style wood paneling and the bathroom was original, with pink tiles and the old shower that still works very well! Although it is a budget motel, it was very clean and the bed was as comfortable as a Marriott hotel. The units have little outside patios facing a pond, the trees decorated with colored lights, and there is a charming little open air cocktail bar. We loved our vintage stay!

Convenience Good place to stay for over night and near to where wished to visit without rushing to go home.

Less Than Ideal Can't recommend this one. Two of the wall outlets had no power supplied to them. To recharge I found an old outlet with no cover plate that did work, but there was no way to turn on one of the bedside lamps. The hardware holding up the shower curtain was completely rusted, suggesting it hasn't been changed in a very long time, but since there wasn't a vent in the bathroom, it's also possible that the rail and cap plate simply rusted from constant humidity. Finally, I suggest that the motel be prepared with questions about food with restaurant information and/or reviews. This is a very low-priced motel, so it's understandable that there are no bells and whistles.
