We were there Friday and Saturday night just for Rick Stein restaurant didn’t do a lot of with the hotel
Cheeky Dog was ok for Friday night till 23:00
Cold breakfast was ok very standard any hot food extra charge
Level 3 room 301 has the view of the water the king room is large and comfortable
Bathroom is spotless
Comfortable but can feel my partner turning etc. but ok

A great couples getaways. Very nicely maintained property and great service. The pool is a fantastic way to spend your day whilst you watch the trees and the ocean.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly it is in a perfect location however the hotel can do with an upgrade and the room decor needs a bit of an upgrade

When with the Coolcation package, includes buffet breakfast and nightly drinks plus stargazing advice (never received this). Staff were all lovely and very helpful. There are three dining options - Mexican, Australian (Risk Stein) and bar food. Lovely infinity pool (a bit cold to swim) and onsite spa. So close to the beach and a lovely walk. Perfect place to loose yourself for a few days.

A wonderful 3 nights at Bannisters, we had a triple room it was comfortable for 3 adults, loved the balcony & enjoyed watching the bird life. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and our room was cleaned while at breakfast, we enjoyed "happy hour" by the pool and the continental breakfast was lovely. I could highly recommend Bannisters for a stay & will definitely going back when I have the opportunity.

Despite miserable weather we really enjoyed our three night stay to celebrate an important birthday. We found the view from our top floor room very restful. There were no champagne glasses in our room, nor a bottle opener, but these were cheerfully provided by reception. The continental breakfasts were excellent and we thoroghly enjoyed the dinner and service in Rick Stein's restaurant. At times, in blowing rain, it was a little challenging getting from our room to the restaurant or attached pub. Overall, although perfect place for a special occasion.

It was OK. The room was nice but no mini bar or room service which is unusual at this price point. Also very limited toiletries in the bathroom. Food options are good - the Mexican is great and the margaritas delicious! Rick Stein’s is good too if you don’t mind paying $80 for a steak! Forget the spa. Worst massage I’ve had in a while. Felt like they were putting on moisturizer for an hour! Parking is like the hunger games so good luck there! Head to the soldiers point wharf area for a great breakfast.
