Whilst the Pierre Apartments are clean and functional, it has to be noted that the location of Bordes D’Envalira is completely impractical for families or groups wanting to experience the best of Soldeu or Pas De La Casa, as the location is neither here nor there, the location has 1 pub, which has seen better days, there is zero Aprè Ski.. , also, impossible to walk into Pas or Soldeu.., a bus is available however which stops running at 9:55pm Additionally, the studio apartment is at least 1/2 KM walk down a long switch back hill that has no public footpath and in fact I would describe it as dangerous for anyone with kids under 10 The Studio Apartment is in no way big enough for 4 people, we found on arrival that the sofa bed was broken so my son had to sleep on the mattress on the floor, using a towel for a Duvet, (as sufficient bedding was not made available), with my other son roughing it on the wonky sofa…, I, on the other hand the delights of a single bed especially made for someone the size of Thumbelina, who would would have needed a rubber back to withstand the concrete mould mattress Said bed, however is strategically placed 4 steps from the kettle, oven and sink, handy if you’re also the one doing the cooking I suppose. I know Ski / Snowboard accommodation is traditionally supposed to be back to basics, but this takes the whole concept of ‘bejou’ a little too far…, I’ve stayed in some rough slope accommodations over the years, but this one has to win the Black Run award for being the worst Don’t think we’ll be coming back here If you are a family.., don’t waste you money
