I arrived and they disputed my payment and were negative re Trip.com. After a while they conceded I paid. Got to my room and the one duvet was filthy and the bath plug was blocked up with dirt. Also no basics like shampoo and a kettle for tea and coffee. So their name, Quality, is definitely wrong. On the positive side was the food and the gym.

Fantastic stay at Quality Hotel Sogndal. Staff at reception, breakfast and bar were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, and well layed out, all necessities available, and mattresses, duvets and pillows excellent. The hotel has three restaurants, we tried only Vagal (excellent burgers) and Pergola (lovely pastas and pizzas), and really enjoyed the food and wine on offer. Loved our stay at the Quality - will definitely come back again!

Very nice, modern hotel. The meal service stood out. Great choices for both dinner and breakfast in a nicely appointed dining room. The room was good, with enough outlets to charge our devices. The bathroom was small with little counter space.

This hotel is part of a standard chain so you can be fairly sure what to expect. I booked a superior room and asked for a quiet one. Room perfectly nice with a big smart bathroom & it was distant from other rooms in the modern wing BUT there is a really busy road outside and we were close. Perhaps it’s not feasible to have a superior room away from the road? Beware if you are a light sleeper. There was a good buffet breakfast on offer though as the hotel was busy it was a bit hectic. There are 2restaurants to choose from & the Italian LaPergola was very good. See separate review. The reception staff were amiable. A few omissions for the price: No tissues, no shower mat to stand on outside shower, no facility to make hot drinks in the room. Yes very nice to have free hot & soft drinks in the seating area downstairs, but a bit of a trek down 4 floors to get one. Couldn’t fill my hot water bottle for my back pain too. Would a small fridge to put our water in be too much to ask? These small things would have massively improved our stay. Would I stay again? Probably not as such a noisy area and hectic with so many guests.

Stay away if you can!
Room design from the last century, view in room on floor 1 was a wall 1m away from the window. Bad smell from bathroom, uncomfortable beds.

El hotel no sé de dónde saca las cuatro estrelas. Nos dieron una habitación que fue un timo. Una zona anticuada, sin reformar, no se podía salir al balcón, sin calefacción (un radiador cutre) . Me hace gracia las fotos del hotel en páginas de hoteles como esta. No se parece ni por asomo. Al decirle a la recepcionista si todas las habitaciones triples eran iguales y tenían la bañera manchada de marrón como la foto que adjunto dijo que sí. Mentira, una habitación al lado estaba abierta, limpia y preparada y entré a mirar y no. Una estafa de hotel. Compañía IryVenir no trabajen con este tipo. Desayuno flojo y suciedad por todas partes. Viejo y sucio hasta la entrada del hall.
