Very friendly operators welcome you in this very beautiful, old house, right in the heart of Soest on the market. With a room directly facing the market, it was perfect for someone who loves such an atmosphere. Sure it's busier outside during All Saints' Fair or Christmas market times, but we stayed here early October 3rd - 7th and it was relaxed, quiet and cosy. The breakfast, included in the price for the double room, is rich and tasty - nothing is missing. The restaurant offers upscale, home-style cooking with a focus on sustainability and regional products. The recommendation of the Pälmer family, a roast beef made from onions, prepared medium rare with potato noodles and a dark sauce, was poetry. In addition, at the time of our stay there was a Bavarian week, which you can really call that and not just a cheap imitation, because everyone does it. The room was spacious enough for a 4 night stay, the bathroom with shower was clean and decently furnished. We can only recommend the ”Wilden Mann” and would always want to stay there again when staying in the vicinity.

Ich bin 64 Jahre alt und habe schon in vielen Hotels übernachtet. Noch nie ist mir so eine hilfsbereite Rezeptionistin untergekommen. Ich nenne sie ”die junge Frau mit der schwarzen Dogge”. Sie fragte uns, welches Zimmer wir im Hinblick auf den Sonnenstand haben wollen. Ein Zimmer habe eventuell eine ganz klein wenig bessere Aussicht, dafür aber stünde abends die Sonne auf dem Fenster. Ohne dass wir fragten, erklärte sie uns dann auf dem Stadtplan auch noch die Sehenswürdigkeiten.

The Hotel Susato is a very nice new integrative hotel in Soest located directly on the wall with beautiful parking facilities right in front of the house door. Very recommendable for families with children as well as Absolutely recommendable. We are happy to come back

Minimalistisches, sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Service. Wir hatten ein DZ im EG mit separatem Bad und waren grundsätzlich sehr zufrieden. Allerdings erhebt das Hotel in der gesamten Vorweihnachtszeit einen Aufpreis, bietet das Frühstücksbuffet MO bis FR aber nur bis 9 Uhr an - das ist ärgerlich und irgendwie unverständlich! Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos. Die Fußgängerzone ist in wenigen Minuten über den Bahnhof zu erreichen.

A simple, but very careful and clean hotel. It is located at the beginning of the pedestrian zone, the city centre is quickly accessible. Very friendly and helpful staff. Simple, but good breakfast. Clean rooms, new baths, quiet location. I'd like to go back.
