The hotel is very well located, close to the shops, as well as a track of luges and patinoires located at 5-10min walking from the hotel where we could borrow the luges freely in the hotel. We have enjoyed the offered dishes, very well cooked. The rooms are spacious and clean. We strongly recommend this hotel located in this small town of Sodankylä, peaceful and welcome.

The hotel’s location and the atmosphere of Lapland forests is unique and magic, it is unbelievably romantic and peaceful. Meals are super tasty and always there is a lot to choose from. We stayed in the Riverside log cabin, it was very cosy. The guides for the adventure trips were perfect. The only negative issue were some of the waiters, apparently not from Finland. If you don’t tip them a sum of money they consider appropriate, they will completely ignore you and let you feel like a piece of rubbish. They repeatedly took away wine glasses from our table without even asking what we want to order or bringing the wine list and they even stopped greeting us. I have only seen this behaviour in third world countries and wouldn’t expect it in this amazing hotel. It is a shame!

A spacious and idyllic log cabin in Kopararova near the Kiilopää fell. The proximity of trails and hiking trails makes the cabin a perfect destination for those who enjoy nature. The cottage is located at the end of Kiilo-ojantie, making the location peaceful.The two-floor log cabin (159 m²), has a kitchen/living room, 4 bedrooms, a study room, a washroom, a sauna, 2 toilets, one of which also has a shower, and 2 terraces.Sleeping areas on the ground floor: 2 bedrooms, both with a 140 cm wide double bed. A sofa bed that can be spread out in the study room. Bedrooms upstairs: 2 bedrooms, one with 1 bed (120 cm) and the other with 1 bed (80 cm).NOTE! Upstairs there is also a bedroom and a large balcony, which are not for customer use.The cabin's two terraces are in such a way that one is connected to the entrance and the other is connected to the sauna section.NOTE! The cottage is not allergy-free.
