I gave 3 starts because the staff is friendly & helpful and I was satisfied with my room. BUT, I was charged the wrong amount for my room (was there for a class reunion, we had a group rate which is what reservation was made & confirmed with). It has taken me over 6 weeks to get this corrected. I have called multipe times trying to speak to the GM (Cassie Bowers) and always told she's busy, in meetings, on the phone, etc. They have left messages for her, what needed to be done and please return my call. She finally accepted my call today (6 weeks later) and said, with not the best attitude, she would refund and it would take 7-10 business days. It's too bad. This is a newer hotel and a good location. It's a shame it's so poorly managed. She blamed being short-staffed (looks like multiple people reviewing have heard that excuse). I'm usually happy at Fairfield properties, but won't stay at this one again. Hopefully they can either better train the current manager to keep employees or find a new one who can turn this property around.

Short-Staffed! DO NOT STAY HERE! I saw reviews as of 4 months ago so decided sure, why not stay here?! Boy was I wrong! Choose the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn, as my relatives had a Much better experience than we did. Came into this tiny town for an event, and reserved 3 rooms a month in advance with my cc. When my party of 4 arrived at 6:20ishPM (well after check-in time of 4pm) the lady looked stressed and frantically stated "let me see if we even have the rooms". She left for roughly 10-15 mins then came back to state she only had 2 rooms- so two of us bunked together. Not the end of the world. Then stated the 3rd would be avail the next day. We get up to our rooms and actually only 1 of the 2 rooms was ready. The 2nd was still being cleaned for another 20 minutes. Then when the other room was "ready" the bath tub had gross cloudy water clogged, which took all night to drain. The next morning we checked with front desk to ensure the 3rd room would still be available today, and was told yes, I'd be ready, however when I arrived after 4pm to officially check in we were told they had no idea about us checking into the 3rd room. At this point I had lost my patience. Also the key didn't work twice, making us have to come back down to the lobby to fix. I asked for a manager and the "manager" who came over had a snarky passive aggressive attitude, and acted as if we were burdening her, rudely stating "we're short-staffed" , no sincere apologies EVER GIVEN, then she proceeded to say "why didn't you check in for the 3rd room yesterday, I have you as a no show, so you were charged". Ummmm What?! lol Their rep stated it wasn't avail. Let's us use reason here, why would we check into 2 of 3 rooms... makes zero sense. She made us feel like she was doing us a favor and stated she would take off the charge. Uh duhhh... My goodness you better take it off. I'll spare the additional attitude and comments made by this hotel/leader of the hotel, but it wasn't pleasant nor managerial material at the very least. Perhaps She is the reason the hotel is short-staffed. Small town so I'm sure word travels here, that the manager is not anybody the people in town would like to work with. Plus the lack of customer service when we were inconvenienced was quite baffling. ADDITIONALLY: Called Marriot Customer service ON 6/26/2024 (super nice rep) and was told I'd get a response by regional within 3-5 business days, well it's about the 8th business day and No Response - what a joke. WILL SPREAD WORD AND NEVER GIVE MY MONEY TO MARRIOT AGAIN. Also to note, I paused before posting this review, allowing upper management to opportunity to rectify the experience but since no response I decided why not?!

Very friendly young man checked us in. Good location opposite Walmart. Breakfast good though hot food took ages to be replaced. Outdoor pool unlocked but when we went in for a closer look, the water was all brown and dirty. Staff advised it was closed for winter. First we’ve had that happen and weather was 85 so not cold. No signage to say it was closed or why. Wifi was terrible and kept dropping out.

The hotel was just okay. We stayed here while driving across Texas and it did suit our needs. The room was rather small. Our shower handle was broken, but we were able to use the shower. There were not enough towels in our room and the front desk person was reluctant to give us another set when we asked.

I come through this area pretty often and always love staying here. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The Suites are pretty spacious and I love that they are pet friendly. I never travel with out my companion. The rooms are always clean and the Lobby also smells clean. The elevator has its moments it can be a bit scary at times. The breakfast has changed a bit but it still has some great options to choose from.

Checked in at 9 pm & found bed in room covered with black hair and little pink pills under covers on one bed and tiny red dots on other bed. Went to wonderful desk clerk who gave us another room across the hall. One bed with semen stains on sheets but other ok. Front desk Lizzie next morning apologized and discounted room. I discovered I left my IPad & Lizzie retrieved it from room and secured it in Managers office until I could come back for it. So appreciate customer service from both front desk employees!

Overall, a good stay for a competitive price. The room was clean and reasonably quiet. The breakfast was decent. Desk staff were helpful and did their best to meet any requests we had. The hotel was mostly filled with construction/energy/trade workers. Several left their dirty clothes in the hall outside of the door, something I hadn't seen before, but don't have a good solution for. At early morning breakfast, one worker was blasting a Spanish-language devotional from his phone in the breakfast area...a little odd but not the worst thing I guess. I noticed that nearly all the external doors were getting left slightly open or propped open with rocks (by guests I'd assume). That was the one thing I didn't really like. I do expect access to be controlled through key cards or through the main entrance at Marriott properties. The hotel is in a slightly odd location at an intersection that forces you to go down the road and make a u-turn to go back on the main road.

We were in Snyder Texas for an overnight stay - thought that staying in a Marriott property would ensure a great stay - wrong! In our room we only had 1 set of linens, well there was two of us. I asked the front desk for more linens and ws told that they were out. OUT of towels. Also, we had a dirty sock on the floor of our room; we had limited television service and to add insult to injury - the breakfast was pathetic. They ran out of eggs and most everything else that they were supposed to have. By the way - the coffee was so bad that I felt like I ought to chew it first. My advice, don't stay there!
