Viceroy Snowmass

I wanted to reach out and share our experience during our recent stay and honestly, we were really disappointed. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready. No big deal, we get it. We came back at 4, still not ready. Again, inconvenient but not the end of the world. After asking a couple more times, we were finally given the keys. The front desk mentioned that the delay was because the previous guests had just left. But when we walked into the room and opened the shades, we were shocked. There were about 15 workers right outside the patio laying sod, planting trees, and pulling out landscaping. It was loud, chaotic, and completely unexpected. The patio was basically a construction site. The entire reason we came to Snowmass was the view and the peaceful setting. If we had known about this ahead of time, we could have made another choice or booked somewhere else. But we had no idea. We went to the front desk to see if we could switch rooms because we were here to relax, and it was anything but relaxing. The manager was kind and tried to help. She offered us the same room on a different floor or in the adjacent building; she said this is where the CEO was checking in, and she would switch rooms, but it still faced construction. Then she let us know we’d have to pack up and move again after five days. She did send up a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine, which was a nice gesture, and we appreciated her effort. But overall, the front desk team was pretty unhelpful and seemed more annoyed than accommodating. We spent over $10,000 on this stay, and we should have been told upfront that there would be major construction happening outside our room. That kind of lack of communication isn’t acceptable at this level. It’s not just about the noise; it’s about the experience and the fact that no one gave us a heads-up. I hope you’ll take this seriously and do better about communicating situations like this in the future. Seriously annoyed...

The food, ambiance, and staff at the Toro were superior. Oscar and Elsa took great care of us as well as all of the servers. Out stay at the Viceroy was wonderful full of family memories. We would recommend it to anyone.

Had a GREAT time at Viceroy a few days ago. It all started with Luka at the front desk who was very courteous, professional and knowlegable. To top that off he gave me a wonderful room upgrade. I saw him a few more times as well at checkout and he was always cheerful & helpful. Luka is a wonderful rep for the Viceroy.He is the type of person who gives quality service that makes trips extra special for me. Cheers Dave

We love visiting Snowmass and the Viceroy is always a highlight. Oscar, Chef Edgar and Stephanie have continuously been wonderful. We look for to every time we visit. Best food and service in Snowmass!!!

I visited TORO with my family and the food was delicious and Elsa and Oscar were amazing! I definitely recommend it. Great staff and great environment. 10/10
