Замечательный отель! Один из лучших, где мы останавливались когда-либо. Просторный номер (был улучшенный), высокие потолки, современный классический интерьер, душ + ванна, 2 умывальника и 2 зеркала, Великолепный ресторан! Хотела бы сюда вернуться. Рекомендую всем!

Absolutely the best hotel in Smolensk, to my mind! My wife and I stayed there in early June. It's brand new, shining clean, boasts excellent location on the embankment of the Dnepr River, and offers comfy rooms with good sound insulation. The girls at the reception look like beauty queen pageant winners, and they are also competent, efficient, and ready to help. On the ground level, an exquisite à la carte breakfast is served that may be ordered in advance. In the evening the place is transformed into a posh restaurant called Lanin that offers scrumptious local food and is regarded as one of the best—if not the best—in town. The parking space in front of it is large, CCTV-equipped, and guarded round the clock. It's free for the hotel guests. The hotel itself is housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century vocational school and is elegantly illuminated at night. Strongly recommended. A gem!

Мы - я, моя супруга, наша дочь и её пятилетняя дочка - имели удовольствие проживать в этом прекрасном отеле в первой половине февраля аж восемь ночей. В Смоленск приехали просто проветриться, по области порассекать, местную ресторанную жизнь продегустировать и т.д. Брали два стандарта. Они новые совсем, только в прошлом году открылись, и всё внутри с гордостью свидетельствует об этом. Но сие не главное. Тот, кто переоборудовал это здание ремесленного училища 1876 года под современную гостиницу, был настоящим профессионалом! Планировка продумана до мелочей. Можно бесконечно перечислять её достоинства, но скажу лишь одно: прекрасная звукоизоляция, о чем в огромном количестве отелей (не только в России) остаётся лишь мечтать. По моему мнению, это самая настоящая "пятёрка" (насколько я понимаю, они на неё пóдали) - и по площади номеров, и по их комплектации, и по чистоте повсеместной, и по внимательности персонала, и по многому ещё чего. Отдельно отмечу стильность и элегантность интерьеров. И лифты есть. Завтраки заказываются либо с вечера (если торопишься), либо по приходе и сервируются довольно быстро, минут за десять. Всё очень качественно. В том же помещении, под названием ресторан "Ланин", вечером царит просто гастрономический оргазм. Это один из лучших - если не лучший - ресторан Смоленска, и столики туда нужно бронировать за несколько дней, особенно если это праздники или выходные, в том числе и проживающим в отеле. Гигантская бесплатная охраняемая парковка. Козырная локация в центральной части города, с видом на Днепр. Есть небольшой затык: иногда к вечеру холодела вода. Но девочки реагировали мгновенно, и неудобство оперативно устранялось. Я давно не останавливался в таком удобном, уютном и дружелюбном месте. Strongly recommended!

Были в Смоленске с конца октября по начало ноября. Долго не могли выбрать отель, но, наткнувшись на Пестриков, поняли, что вот, что мы искали. Отель расположен в одной из частей стен Смоленска, в старом здании, но это не помешало отреставрировать его и сделать просто потрясающее место, где можно остановиться. Номера убирают ежедневно. В них самих имеется бесплатный чай, кофе, сахар, мед и джем, вода, также ежедневно приносят небольшие призенты в виде конфет(нам приносили начиная со второго дня). В ванной тоже немало всего: мыло, зубные щетки с пастой, гель для душа, шампунь, салфетки, даже соль для ванны есть. В самом номере также лежали старинные книги(1970-1990 г) Кровать гигантская и очень удобная. Что касается самого ресторана в отеле и завтраков(Ланин) - это просто блеск! Порции не маленькие и очень вкусные. Персонал отеля отзывчивый и приятный в общении. Вообщем, отель на все 100% стоит своих денег!
