Excellent place to stay. Very clean and staff was great. Price was very reasonable. Their breakfast was also very good. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Had to wait quite awhile to check in - poor desk clerk is the only person working on a Saturday when they are fully sold out. She is very nice. Hall and room smelled of mold - no AC running in the room. Very humid. Worst part - sheets and pillows and pillow cases all stained (blood) or smelling of mildew. Rooms itself seems clean. Went downstairs twice to get completely new bedding for our beds. Not enough clean pillows so the clerk is washing the ones we have but I’m not sure I’ll want to use them even after this. If it wasn’t a holiday weekend I’d have checked out. Thankful we are only staying one night.

Run down shabby hotel. It is not marked from the road, in a shopping center. The entire building smells musty. The breakfast bar is very minimal compared to other hotels I have stayed. The bed was lumpy and sagged in the middle. The staff at front desk did not know anything about local sites like Oak Island and Bald Head Island. Maid service was also minimal. Phone did not work, TV had no guide.

Our family does a lot of fishing at the Carolina Coast while on vacation, so our key needs from the hotel were met exceptionally. We appreciate the staff for helping with any needs we had, like accommodations for more towels & allowing us to use the dining quarters any hours in the night for more comfortable eating. Great trip over all!

Zero stars
We stayed for 7 nights. We immediately had to be moved rooms due to the first room having dirty floors and beds. The second room had mold all over the ceiling. The fridge did not work. The Air Conditioner barely blew cool air. The entire place smelled so bad. The guest laundry as advertised does not work and was told by one of the attendants it hasn’t and will not be fixed. Had I known laundry wasn’t available I would have packed appropriately. Also had to wait on clean towels and wash cloths daily. Not to mention the tv and chest fell on me while trying to put clothes in it.

Typical 3 star hotel. Breakfast was good, pool was clean, and staff is friendly. PHD student greeted me at check-in. We bonded over summer reading, and the never-ending degree off. Hotel phone did not work for external calls so that was a disappointment, other than that a great place to stay only a 1-2 mile drive from port.

We were there during a severe rain storm. Water leaked in around the window. Carpet was saturated on 50% of the floor. Had to wear shoes. Our room was not the only one. Part of the first floor flooded. New building. Reason for leakage around windows????
