We had an amazing and relaxing time over the July 4th weekend. We did not receive a renovated unit however the units were very clean and comfortable and the beds were amazing and very comfortable. We booked this last minute and the hotel was sold out and yet Mariah still went above and beyond and got us all 5 units very close to each other so we can enjoy family time together. As this was the holiday weekend the pools were both jammed packed yet the place was well taken care of there were always enough towels and staff constantly straightening up. We have already booked our return trip for later this summer.

We have been coming to Shawnee for 40 years ever since my family bought one of the River Village villas. The units are very clean and fully equipped. Beds are small, but comfortable. The outside is showing its age with peeling paint. The inside could use an update. The pools are clean and in good shape. Every time we check in the Wyndham representative tries to pursued us into attending their vacation club presentation which is annoying.

My 1st visit to the Poconos. It's a very peaceful place to collect your thoughts & rest the body. The accommodations are varied, but I recommend the units on the Ridgetop. Very nice, BUT lots of steps. Get ready to pull your luggage & yourself to the door.

This was a beautiful relaxing resort in the Poconos with great staff and activities there. The front desk staff is amazing , efficient and very helpful. The General Manager is very efficient in his job , and attentive to the needs of the guests. I recommend this beautiful resort in the Poconos highly.

This was our first time at resort. Check in is not easy you have to go two desks first to check in and second desk they trying to sell you to listen later at your stay 90 minutes their promotion. So check in time was long. There is no internet they stop your internet service and gives you wifii which never works. Villa itself had carpet which has old smell in the rooms and there was dead flies in the kitchen sink and big spider in the bathroom tub.

The room was very spacious and our daughter enjoyed the indoor swimming facility and arcade. However, our room/villa was extremely dated. There’s a giant orange bucket shaped bathtub off the kitchen that was strange. No jets. Just a deep orange tub. The showers are all tiny like you’re showering in a camper. My husband couldn’t even turn around in it and I had to turn the water off to scrub up, then turn it back on to rinse. We had ants in the kitchen that they sprayed the morning after our checkin. There were larger bugs that I was not able to identify dead in the closets and spiders. We chalked it off as a stay in the mountains and we should expect bugs, … I would be hesitant to book again.
