Hampton Inn by Hilton Smithfield Selma

The hotel was so nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and well stocked. We had a great stay!

Excellent stay. Large room, comfy bed, huge shower, modern and clean, Friendly staff. Convenient I-95 access. All good.

Stayed here for 1 night during a US road trip, hotel was clean and quiet, staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the staff on reception were rude and unhelpful on numerous occasions. We’ve stayed in many Hilton hotels during our trip, all of which have provided free bottled water - only after checking out did we receive an email charging us $6.50 for 2 bottles of water, the cost isn’t significant but the fact that we were then lied to about the reasons were really disappointing. Shame that this simple thing left a sour taste for us and only at this specific hotel, maybe they can provide some staff training and clearly state that the bottled water in the room is chargeable.

This is by far one of the best Hamptons I have ever stayed in. It is updated and staff was incredibly friendly! Initially, I was concerned because there is construction going on near the hotel. However, once I stepped into the lobby, it was much to my liking. It was clean well kept. The receptionist who checked me in was helpful in terms of providing a restaurant list. Despite the construction, the hotel is located near restaurants and shopping. This is a definite stay again place for me.

Good breakfast staff great unfortunately got in late and no one was at front desk for 20 minutes eventually someone showed up after ringing the desk the whole time. Was a little nerve racking at first cut after everything was smooth nice clean new location

Not so pet friendly The lobby was nice and clean but the entire 2nd floor hallway smelled musty/mildewy. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is listed as pet friendly, but there is a $75 pet fee which we did not expect.
