Super 8 by Wyndham Smithfield/Selma

I booked the hotel for me and my daughter she likes to swim for the most part it was a good stay she enjoyed it that was the whole point of it for me thanks.

Stopping for the night after leaving Florida, this property was a welcome sight because it was reasonable ($67), clean, has a great location just off I-95 and has a decent continental breakfast. We have been staying here since it opened in 1998 on our many trips up and down I-95. There is an indoor pool, plenty of parking and a breakfast of juices, teas, cereal, bagels, and waffles that had red velvet batter this time. Plenty to get you down the road until lunch. Dozens of restaurants within a 1/2 mile of the place and plenty of shopping opportunities. An upper end economy property with a very nice staff.

Hotel Stay It was just an overnight stay. When I got home I realized I left my pocketbook in the room. I called them and they had it. Adam mailed it to me and had it safely back in my hands again. Very honest family.

The hotel room smelled, floors were filthy, the mattress was held up by bars and don’t know what the heck that thing was (metal) around the bottom of the bed, The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet, got my room cleaned once even though I did not have the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Everything was old or just run down. Pool was very cloudy constantly. I would never recommend anyone staying there.

We had a great stay! The staff was great. They were professional, courteous, and genuinely nice. The facility itself is dated and could use a facelift, but it's very clean, it has an indoor pool, and everything else that every hotel has like the continental breakfast, laundry facilities etc. We would definitely stay there again! And you can't beat the price I'd rather stay in a dated place at a good price then pay twice as much just because it's aesthetically pleasing.
