Pier head motel
The hotel was lovely..the room was very good size..the dinner was great..free buffet breakfast started our day off perfectly..overall a wonderful place to stay

Friendly staff, rated as 3star appropriately.
Staff was great, room comfortable but no air, bathroom small no plug, food was good but the steak was chewy and not cooked as asked.

Liked this venue. Great views of the harbour from my room. Staff were good, some maybe lacked experience. Good food and the booze was good. Can't knock it, some are hard to please ! It's not in my usual schedule, Sligo, but if I am there again will return to this hotel.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was OK but all of the hotel needs a deep clean and revamp. It's such a pity it could be so much better with some tlc and effort put into the hotel. Views are amazing. Restaurant food is completely overpriced, very poor and dated menu with limited choice, food was average. No fish on menu other than fish and chips..as salmon was sold out..no.specials on menu and very limited and expensive starters. With some effort and work put into the hotel it has huge potential but it seems from previous reviews that it's flaws have been highlighted and nothing is being done to change it. The bar was cold, it was a very stormy night, no fire lit or candles on tables, very draughty, no background music in bar or restaurant. Overall superb location, good staff but it needs work and someone to steer it in the right direction.

We used the car park with our campervan (12 euro for tje nigjt, access to hotel loos). We were welcomed by a lovely, friendly receptionist, very helpful. Unfortunately we couldn't eat there as the restaurant was full. Great Guinness. Great atmosphere.

Lovely comfortable room, with great view. Staff at reception were very friendly, kind and professional. Location is excellent. Unfortunately, food in restaurant is not up to standard of a hotel. However, service was excellent and staff more than helpful and attentive. We had dinner, but not breakfast as a result of the disappointing dinner. View from restaurant is stunning. Hugo the seagull even made an appearance!! Overall, would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future!

Frequent traveller to beautiful Mullaghmore and the Pier Head is a special place to stay. Great friendly atmosphere and service. The breakfast is very good, plenty of choice and great quality. Bar food is a bit more limited but fish and chips is perfect. The swimming pool is an added bonus but the real benefit is the location right down in the harbour and so close to the beach.
