Ik verbleef één nacht in Boutique Hotel Slenaker Vallei en was van begin tot eind onder de indruk. Het personeel was warm en gastvrij, de kamer was brandschoon met een prachtig uitzicht, en het ontbijt was vers en heerlijk. Twee buitenlandse medewerkers in de ontbijtzaal waren bijzonder vriendelijk—altijd met een glimlach en een warme ontvangst, wat de ochtend extra speciaal maakte. Zelfs in slechts één nacht voelde ik me echt verzorgd. Ik kom hier zeker terug wanneer ik weer in Zuid-Limburg ben

I booked this hotel for my sister and partner for two nights. They were repeatedly asked if they would stay for dinner, even though they were supposed to be eating with us and other family members. The staff's attitude made them feel uneasy. My wife and I visited them on the first evening and sat down on the terrace while waiting for my sister and partner. We wanted to order two cups of coffee, but were told that wasn't allowed because we weren't hotel guests. When my sister and partner arrived, I wanted to order a glass of water because my sister had a bad cough, but was told that wasn't allowed and asked if I could order sparkling blue or red. On the t**** evening, after waiting a long time for a staff member, we were told that coffee or tea couldn't be ordered anymore because it was too much work.

Alweer een magische avond beleefd bij Slenaker Vallei. De gerechten van het chef’s menu waren heerlijk fris en passend bij het seizoen. Het wijn arrangement was voortreffelijk, zelden meegemaakt dat de wijnen zo goed pasten bij het eten. Gastvrijheid en ambiance was niet te overtreffen. En ook het weer zat mee, heerlijk buiten kunnen zitten. Een avond om nooit te vergeten.

Van ontvangst tot vertrek, hartelijk, warm, uitstekende kamer en het eten echt voortreffelijk, een vette 10 evenals het voortreffelijke wijnarrangement. En dagje Maastricht ook makkelijk bereikbaar, bus stopt tegenover hotel, en prachtige rit door het olie Limburgse landschap.

Wij komen al bij de Slenaker Vallei voordat Wim de sleutel kreeg. Elke keer is het weer een stapje beter. Er zijn maar weinig hotel/restaurants waar alles zo klopt als hier. Zeker sinds de komst van Monique wordt klantgerichtheid met een 10 met een griffel beleefd

Wij waren in juni 2012 de eerste keer in Slenaker vallei. Sinds dan zijn wij bijna ieder jaar terug geweest, zoals nu recent voor de 12de keer. Wij hebben de wereld rondgereisd, maar de sfeer, eten, gezelligheid, gastvrijheid bij Monique & Wim en hun medewerkers, komt men niet zo veel tegen. Wij hopen dat nog vele jaren te kunnen doen. Helaas was onze ervaring helemaal niet positief. Terwijl op het terras aan een tafeltje zaten te wachten op iemand die de bestelling kwam opnemen werden andere gasten uitgebreid en luidruchtig binnen gehaald. Wij werden genegeerd, vervolgens werd er zeker 6x langs ons heen gekeken alsof we lucht waren. Na 10 minuten zijn we opgestapt. Het was niet druk en er was genoeg personeel maar geen aandacht voor ons die zaten te wachten.
