We had booked our wedding here and later sadly had to cancel due to separation. I was really shocked by the lack of compassion from lazaats as they had previously been fantastic, it seemed they we’re only interested in their money. In their own words “May I please respectfully summarise, that you essentially booked a wedding that you then later chose to cancel. Sadly the reasons for the cancellation are not relevant to us as a business” it was hard enough dealing with the seperation and cancelling everything and I did expect more from lazaats. We had to pay £2310.94 to cancel, I didnt have this money upfront so asked to pay £1800 and the rest monthly. In the morning I had sent over £1910.94 leaving myself a square £400 to pay. This was before I had had chance to read my emails and saw that they had offered me to pay £1800 to settle the invoice. I did initially misread this but hugely appreciated the discount. Seen as though I had already overpaid I asked for a refund of £110.94 and this was refused and my last email has been ignored.

Had our wedding here. What a fantastic hotel. Definitely recommend this place for a wedding. Rooms all immaculate. Staff really friendly and food delicious. The grounds are also beautiful for photos. We stayed here the night before our wedding and the night of our wedding. X

I have stayed here twice now, and it is nice place to stay, there is a fantastic entrance with a huge plant growing though the spiral staircase there are some rooms in the main building and some in an annex across the car park, I have stayed in both, all the rooms are of a good size. For the money this is a wonderful place for a night out.

Booked for the races as other hotels fully booked. A good taxi ride to Bevely itself. Hotel looks ok on arrival and nice large car park and lots of rooms in separate annexes. Once inside hotel is mismatched and dated. This hotel is a party hotel with a very small bar area, there were 3 parties on when we stayed and the whole hotel had booming music all of which clashed with each other and this was very distracting while sitting in the bar area. Not the cleanest hotel we have stayed in and dated decor. The bed quite simply had to be one of the worst we had ever slept in and we got hardly any sleep. Perfect hotel for a party other than that I would avoid.

We booked the Monsoon Suite for my daughter and her cousin’s 18th birthday party. We enquired with a few local venues, one of which would not entertain an 18th party. Lazaats were really helpful. They organised the DJ and food was included as part of the package. This went down very well with the guests! All staff were great and we had a fabulous evening.

it was our wedding and nothing was to much trouble during the booking process right through to the day, our package was amazing and included everything including a complimentary room fir the night ,which was very spacious and comfortable,the staff were very helpful if we ever needed anything.

We had our wedding on 28th July 2024, Mr & Mrs Clay - it was absolutely amazing, the food is the best !!! Even our guests commented its the best wedding they been too and loved the day and evening food!! the team was amazing and I couldn't thank them enough for their support. Beth your fab xx Best wedding day we could have wished for!! The rooms where so comfortable too!! Thank you all so so much xxxx

Wedding May 2024 Mr & Mrs Johnson Fantastic Day, Fantastic Venue/Food, Staff were great from the point of booking to on the day, Max went above and beyond to help us on our special day and kept us informed every step of the way. Food was fantastic did not receive one complaint of any of our guests, enjoyed from starter to our dessert. We used the Imani suite and was perfect for our special day. Packages very appealing depending what you require. The Hotel is a lovely hidden gem with lovely grounds and garden area, rooms were large and comfortable with nice bed, wardrobe area's and bathroom more than what we needed. Evening Buffet was also great, plenty of food and tasted great All of our guests said they had a great time and was a lovely place to get Married Great choice of drinks and again staff were all helpful and great Thank you for our Special Day Mr & Mrs Johnson

Recently had my wedding at Lazaat, an absolute treat. The admin from start to finish was perfect. The wedding manager on the day (Max) was a credit to himself and the hotel, he couldn't do enough and knew exactly how to make the wedding run without a snag. The food was delicious, well presented and all out for the breakfast in great time. The recommended decorator (Linda, A Perfect Wedding) worked her magic and tranformed the venue into our dream wedding. The in-house DJ (Steve Brown, beatdropentertainmentuk) catered to all our requests, and knew exactly the music needed to keep our particular crowd on the dance floor until 1am. I've given 4 stars for the room because my room the night before the wedding looked a bit tired. It was however quiet (despite the party downstairs), big, (had a great view, although I understand I was lucky in that regard), and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend this venue, perfect from start to finish.
