I have waited to write this review to enable the hotel to respond to our issues… but we have never received the compensation promised by Dimitri the owner for what I can only say was the most disappointing hotel stay I have ever experienced. We paid the hotel direct only to be told on arrival that they did not have any record and there was not a room available.. this was at 10.30pm after a very long journey from the UK. We were eventually put up in the Manager’s room which I can say was truly awful. We had to stay there 2 nights until they eventually moved us to a Lake View room. We were only at the hotel for a week and we were constantly having to badger the poor guy behind the desk to sort out issue after issue. The hotel itself should not be open it is basic in the extreme and needs a deep clean… the pool was disgusting, we have been visiting Skiathos for over 20 years so we are well prepared for “Rustic Greece” but this was another level of basic. The Oniro Group who own this and another hotel on the island should be ashamed of itself for taking the amount of money for such shabby accommodation. If you can book elsewhere please do!!!’

Lack of equipment, non-existent comfort and cleanliness of rooms, mediocre or even non-existent quality of service, non-compliant or non-existent catering offer, lousy breakfast. It is indecent and scandalous to sell such an establishment in such a state of disrepair and unsanitary conditions at 3* hotel prices. Management completely ignores customer complaints and treats them with great contempt! Shameful for the local hotel industry and tourism on the island!

I have written my review twice on TA but not seen it, so here we go for the first time. This hotel was family owned a t some point but now is owned by a chain, that doesn’t care or have no idea how to operate an hotel for the prices they charge. On our first night there were no towels, AC hardly worked and forget a out the WiFi. The crew at the restaurant for the morning breakfast tried hard to keep people happy, but they tried

When we first arrived at this hotel (with does not have it's name outside!) we thought it was closed. The pool was roped off and an awful brown colour and there were no guests to be seen.. It wasn't closed and the pool was being treated - it was not available for the length of our stay. I believe it is open now. We were annoyed as one of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the fact that it advertised itself as having a pool. Out room was disappointing - the air conditioning did not work, it had no fridge (also advertised) and there was a dangerously broken floor tile. However, we were given another room. This was lovely, nice view, an attic room so it felt quite airy and had working air-conditioning and a fridge. The breakfasts are minimal (one day the milk was off) and the availability of fresh fruit sporadic. I don't think any more was ordered until the last piece had been consumed. At different times we had to ask for fruit juice, serviettes, knives, and a bread knife and tea towel for the loaves. It is in a wonderful location, it is clean and the staff will do their best to sort out problems. It needs some TLC. We won't be staying again

I stayed for a week at this hotel and unfortunately I feel like confirming what was found in the other reviews. The positive things about the hotel are the location (really strategic for reaching all the most beautiful beaches and convenient for taking the bus to the center) and the friendly staff. On the other hand, the hotel needs a serious renovation, as well as better organization and management: old rooms, with an air conditioning system that does not work for all the rooms (let's say it only works on pressing request), room cleanliness (and above all change of linen!) every 2-3 days, breakfast not very varied... in short, in some ways the basics for a 3 star hotel are missing...

The location is ideal. At a distance of 5 minutes on foot is the best beach of the island. The hotel rooms are spacious but old. They definitely need renovation. We booked a double room with 1 double and 2 single beds. There was also a kitchen but it was not used. The fridge and air conditioner worked perfectly. The bad things were that the cleaning was done every 3 days and at odd hours (3:30-4:00 p.m.). They changed sheets and towels because I asked the cleaners. Also the breakfast very poor. Definitely needs more variety. The staff was kind and willing but a little bit for full season.

Poor facilities, but helpful staff. When we arrived, our reservations were not there, so the check in was delayed a lot. Not value for money at all! Facilities insufficient, the pool was not clean enough. Despite the willingness, kindness and honorable efforts of the staff, there were no towels available for the rooms, no hangers in the wardrobe, no WiFi, no phone to contact the reception. The staff, in their effort to serve us and make our stay pleasant, served us breakfast beyond the specified hours. ! Basic breakfast!

The hotel is well located and easily accessible even by bus. Dilapidated and not very clean rooms (mine and my brother-in-law's), they redo them every two days if that suits you and in case of need you have to request an intervention several times. Towels are changed only on request. Lack of maintenance, I asked several times to change the shower telephone which fell if I tried to hang it up, but they put in another one like it. Moral of the story for 10 days I showered with one hand... no shower curtain so every time I bathe completely soaked. Cracked sink, poorly functioning toilet (two/three flushes were needed). Apart from the personal availability of the two guys at the bar and one of the two receptionists (the one who worked at night), otherwise very little and insufficient availability of the hotel staff. I attach some photos.

It was a disappointment. The air conditioner didn't work and couldn't be fixed and we couldn't even move, the plumbing in the bathroom was bad - water was running. Dirty and basically ruined my entire stay.
