Thoroughly recommend the Polykratis Apartments
The apartment was excellent - clean, comfortable and very well equipped with air conditioning and a large balcony. The location is brilliant, close to all the restaurants, shops, the harbour and buses to the beaches. Marietta, the owner, is very attentive, helpful and a lovely person who seems to go the extra mile for her guests. I would definitely stay at Polykratis again if I return to Skiathos - which is a beautiful island.

The room is big. We are booking a big room with 2 twins beds. The unit has washer machine and clothes drying rack outside of the room. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Everything is walking distance. There's only 1 ***** down to the port and beach.

Siamo arrivate in questa struttura dopo essere scappate da una prenotata in precedenza e ci ha accolte Marieta con estrema attenzione e simpatia. L’appartamento era nuovissimo, pulito e spazioso. Con un bello spazio all’esterno e tutte le comodità possibili. Era perfetto. Grazie di cuore! Ci ha salvato la vacanza!!!

Beautiful apartments, well beyond the usual basic Greek apartments. Ours has a huge king size bed and also a sofa which pulls out to make a double bed with a proper mattress. The bathroom is superb with twin sinks and a multi function shower, which we make the most. Washing machine extremely useful for getting rid of sand and sunscreen. Spotlessly clean. Owners couldn’t be more helpful

We stayed here for one night enroute to Alonnisos, the rooms are very comfortable, very clean have excellent facilities. It is on the main road up from Pappidoamantis Street with balcony, perfect location. We’d happily stay here for a week! Highly recommend, hosts are lovely.

Our stay in Polikratis rooms was extremely disappointing. To begin with, the room was not sound proof and given its location right next to the island's main road, we could hear the traffic and people passing by. As far as the quality of the room is concerned, we found a broken chair, broken down curtains, and a shower door that wouldn't close properly. Not to mention the flooding bathroom every time we took a shower. As we were leaving our room, the host had the audacity to blame us for the room's abominable state and refused to call us a taxi for the airport. She even made a snide remark that we woke up too late in the morning, not allowing the cleaning lady to inspect the room, blaming the mess on us.
