This apartment/hotell is at busstop 15. Perfect location. Close to many restaurants, bars and one super market. Margi house is cleaned everyday and the beds are made. The towels are changed every other day. There is a pool and a jacuzzi with an outdoor shower. Lovely staff❤️ We love this place and Skiathos 👍🏼

Overall, a very good stay in a lovely hotel with amazing staff and lovely views.
Pro's;
Very cheap hotel and what is on offer greatly outweighs the price.
The staff are incredible, anything that was requested was adhered to and offered everything they could to help.
A lovely pool and jacuzzi available at all times.
Lovely views.
Great location away from the hustle and bustle but with shops, bars and restaurants within 10 minutes walk.
Very nice sized rooms for the price paid. Very efficient air con.
Cons;
If you're not into walking the hill up to the hotel can be a bit much, we were fine with it, but i would recommend a quad or a car if you struggle with steep hills.
No breakfast or food options, but enough amenities around that this isn't an issue.
The greek sanitary system (not the hotels fault, but due to other inconsiderate families constantly flushing toilet paper down the loo, our bathroom flooded which was rather unpleasant, but the staff were amazing in how they dealt with this)
Pro's outweigh the cons but a landslide and the staff are an asset to the hotel. We had an amazing stay and if we ever come back to Skiathos we wouldn't hesitate to book here again, maybe just in a different room due to the ignorant other guests.

We stayed at Margi House for a week, Andrea is a very kind person, he explained to us everything about the island and advised us how to get around.
The structure is located in a central area to visit the whole island.

The room was rather small and kitchen facilities sparse. Hot water was not available for showers most evenings. The area is nice with several good restaurants in walking distance BUT the hotel is situated at the top of a very long steep hill. The beach and bus stop are also nearby but walking to them is not recommended if you have to carry any equipment back up the hill. We ended up having to hire a car for the few days we spent there. The Manager was very helpful but is only on site for a few hours each day

I don’t normally write reviews but I thought I must. We have just returned from a week at Margi house . If you want stunning views , spotlessly clean but authentic Greek apartments this place is for you. We were met by Andreas who was very welcoming he was on hand throughout the holiday with information , always being happy and helpful. We even had a room upgrade as I had mentioned in a previous email that it was our wedding anniversary, lovely touch. Margi house is near to lovely restaurants ( Argento being our favourite that is 5 minute walk) supermarkets and Koilis beach ( there are many beaches in walking distance , all of which are beautiful) and the bus stop (public transport is brilliant and cheap) The days we stayed around the pool my family mostly had it to ourselves, no rushing to get sun beds , pure relaxation. The only slight negative was the short but steep hill to get to the apartments but most of the apartments and hotels are built on hills here , that’s what makes it so beautiful, you also get a nice breeze and stunning views , so worth it . Also a pool/snack bar would be a great addition, those two things are the only thing stopping me from giving it 5*s . We are planning on coming back . Thank you Margi house for an amazing holiday , one we will never forgot !

Wir waren für eine Woche im Margie House und haben die Penthouse Wohnung gebucht. Diese Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, geräumig und hat einen schönen Balkon mit Meerblick. Diese Wohnung können wir empfehlen. Das Margie House liegt vergleichsweise ruhig, hat einen schönen Pool, mehrere Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Allerdings gibt es eine schmale und zum Ende sehr steile Zufahrt. Insgesamt ist es ein altes Appartement Haus und das sieht man auch. Daher auch keine Empfehlung für die anderen Appartements. Wir haben uns trotzdem wohlgefühlt, waren aber froh, dass wir die Penthouse Wohnung hatten.
