We stayed at Hotel Rene in early season and absolutely loved the peaceful atmosphere. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the Skiathos Town, but tucked away enough to feel quiet and secluded. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing sea view from the balcony and the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt very well looked after. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing base in Skiathos.

A real gem of a hotel - very friendly and relaxed family run hotel. Spotlessly clean, very quiet but in a fabulous location - yes, there is a steep hill to walk off your meal in the tavernas!!! And the pay off is an amazing sea view from all the rooms! Lovely bar and snack bar and Thai food was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent and very friendly staff. Good options for food if needed. Room was spacious and great value for money. The pool was clean and most importantly the view from the hotel was absolutely phenomenal. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill so if you have mobility issues you would need to get a car.

Myself and a friend stayed at Hotel Rene on 5th and 6th May. We had a really enjoyable stay there. Fantastic views from the hotel over Skiathos Town and the Bay. The rooms were of a good standard and spotlessly clean. All staff were very friendly and hospitable. Swimming pool was lovely as well. We had one evening meal there. The Thai Food was amazing. The hotel is in an elevated position, hence quite a steep climb so bear this in mind! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Just the most amazing hotel. Staff and owners so friendly and helpful, we got there really early in May and it felt like they opened the place for us, and they spoiled us! Lovely clean room high up over the bay with a great balcony...yes, there's a hill to walk up...it's part of the charm so you get to hear the owls at night and feel as though your in the mountains. It's quiet and tranquil and absolutely was the best place to relax. Good buffet breakfast, wonderful people. What more do you want?

We had a great week when we stayed here last year. Very friendly family run hotel, not too far from the airport and good value. Rooms very clean with fantastic views. Breakfast can be eaten inside the breakfast room or out on the large terrace. We mixed our stay, some days we stayed by the pool and enjoyed the wonderful views, or we walked down to the local beach which took about 10 minutes. There is a fairly steep hill back up to the hotel but for us it wasn't too much of a problem, we got used to it by the end of the week. It is only a 15 minute stroll into town which is all downhill, and a 10 Euro taxi ride back at the end of the evening. There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops to explore in the town to suit all tastes. We would recommend and would be happy to stay again next time we return to Skiathos.

We booked this property for end of September 2024 based on the reviews we read and we liked the look of the pool area. We was not disappointed. The staff were excellent and every request was met with a speedy response and the hotel was very clean. The pool was great with stunning views. However, to have these views you have to be prepared to climb some hills. Yes it was hard work but well worth the effort as the view is simply beautiful. It was around a10min walk into Skiathos town which is easy as downhill and about 5mins to the small beach with its lovely Tavernas. In the evenings we would get a taxi back from the town which cost around 10 euros from the harbour.
We had breakfast included and it was basic and was served in the breakfast room. Coffee was great. The pool bar was limited but reasonably priced. Food was great offering a fantastic Thai menu and the usual salads, burgers and snacks you would expect.
In summery, this was great value and very relaxing. We will definitely be returning and special thanks to the team for looking after us so well.

Rent och fräscht rum med fantastisk utsikt! Saknade kokta ägg på frukosten. Mördarbacke upp till hotellet från stan som kan vara jobbig om man har svårt att gå och/eller har andra problem.
