As a solo traveller, I cannot praise the Oasis highly enough, as to how welcomed and safe I felt. From the moment arrived, to day I left nothing was too much trouble. My bungalow had everything you could wish for - kitchen area with all the essentials, twin beds and a fabulous sized bathroom with a separate toilet and shower cubicle area. The room was cleaned daily without fail, with regular changes of bed line and towels. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had the best nights sleep. Outside there was a small terrace with table and chairs . However these were not required, as I preferred to sit in the beautifully maintained grounds. Fantastic pool area and bar - great to spend a lazy or have a sneaky drink at the start/end of the night. No fighting to get a sunlounger, as they are plentiful, so no need to set your alarm to get a bed. Great also to cool off after a day at the beach or if you have been out on an adventure. As an avid reader, I love the library with a book to suit everyone's taste. In my opinion, the Oasis is in the perfect location - not in the centre of town but just a short stroll until you hit the waterfront. Lots of different short cuts back to base and all very safe - not once did I feel threatened or unsafe wandering back on an evening. Situated between two fabulous supermarkets, you are spoilt for choice and there even a shopping trolley or two to borrow, so you can stock up on all your essentials. I cannot fault my stay, the Oasis family are always on hand to help - with Mike and Eleni at the forefront. Nothing is too much trouble, they are the perfect hosts, very knowledgeable and you know you are in safe hands. I cannot recommend enough, if you want traditional Greek accommodation and hospitality. I will definitely be back and already booked for June 2025

We were very fortunate to spend 11 nights this visit at the fabulous Oasis, our favourite Happy Place. Our third visit, it won't be our last. Beautiful tranquil gardens, welcoming and friendly staff. Perfectly situated within easy walking distance of countless fantastic tavernas, shops, harbour front, bus stop, water taxis and airport. Thank you Mike, and your amazing team. We are looking forward to visiting again!.

Fabulous holiday! We arrived early afternoon and we taken to meet the owner Mike who settled us down with a drink and gave one of the most informative talks about a destination I have ever had. He explained all the short cuts to town/supermarkets etc and gave loads of tips about which boats to go on, buses to take and places to eat. Our room was clean and well equipped with a lovely balcony and view. Lovely team of staff at the Oasis who do all they can to make your stay special along with Mike and his wife. We came home and booked again for next year as we still have so many things we want to see and so many places still to try the food. A boat trip is a must along with the open air cinema (books days in advance). We cant wait to come back :) Paul & Sally.

Just got back with my sister today from this paradise Mike and his family and staff are the most wonderful friendly and helpful people. Loved the ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. The words Mike used when he gave a very informative introduction to his place when you stay here you are " part of his family" thankyou we will be back next year.

The gardens here are like stepping into paradise. They are tranquil, luscious and have a gorgeous pool, plenty of comfortable sunbeds. The bar serves a great choice of drinks and snacks and THE most perfectly ice cold beer I've ever tasted. The whole feel of this place is cosy, comfortable and so laid back, had the most relaxing holiday we've had for ages. We had a gorgeous balcony room overlooking the pool and mountains. You can walk to town in 10 minutes or the supermarket, which is very well stocked. The owner Mike, is so welcoming and gave a briĺliant informative talk about the island when we arrived. We can't fault this place and have fallen in love with it so much, we booked for next year before we came home. It's totally addictive.

Perfect as always My family of 4 enjoyed 2 peaceful relaxing weeks at Oasis Daily housekeeping made sure our apartment was clean & had plenty of fresh towels and clean bedding All the staff were great including Mike who made sure we were all happy, he provided us with plenty of information and a map of the area. He also took time to help me arrange a hire car and gave me a map of where to visit during my 2 days hire. The pool was wet & beer was cold 🍻 Thanks Mike for a great holiday 👍

Had a fabulous week in August. First trip to Skiathos and definitely felt we chose well with the accommodation. Lovely friendly staff. Loved our welcome drink and chat with Michael, so nice that he gave us a contact number should we have any problems whilst out and about. Great position for tavernas, harbour and town. Most of all loved the real greek feel of Oasis. Beautiful garden and lovely extra little touches. Got home and rebooked for next year, two weeks this time. Can't wait to return.

Stayed for 2 weeks in aug and had a pleasant time . We’ve already had several luxury holidays this year and we just wanted a quick 2 week break at a reasonable price . We got an absolute bargain and would have happily have paid more for the holiday . The hotel is typically Greek which we knew when we booked and it’s what we wanted . We were welcomed late evening by Mike and given a run down on the island and a free drink of choice . Our cases were taken off us at the end of the drive and we’re waiting at our room when we arrived . The rooms as afore mentioned were typically Greek but clean with everything you would need plus a few extras ( shower caps , slippers ) . Towels and bed sheets changed every 3 days . All communal areas of the hotel were spotless . There were lots of sunbeds and the best bit about the hotel was there was no rush in a morning for a bed , they were available all day . Lots of places to relax in the hotel grounds and a nice little bar area . Drinks are reasonably priced and the cocktails fantastic. Toasties available all day from the bar which were sufficient at lunch if you were by the pool . Hotel location is a few minutes walk to the nearest supermarket, restaurants and shops . All staff members were friendly and would help you should you need it . Would definitely recommend and if came to skiathos again we would book this accommodation.

We are just about to depart the Oasis hotel which has been home for our week in beautiful Skiathos! We were greeted warmly by Mike and his family. Mike offered us a drink on arrival and we also got all the inside knowledge that can only be offered by someone who knows the island so well and is super passionate about the island. Mike is super helpful snd friendly as are his great team. The room was clean, basic and spacious enough for the two of us. The beds had new mattresses and we slept brilliantly. There was a wardrobe, drawers and also drying facilities outside on our poolside patio. The beds were made daily and the surrounding gardens and poolside were kept beautifully. The vibe is very chilled friendly and relaxed. We were able to easily get a lounger every day and there was plenty of additional seating, hammocks, swing chairs etc all around, both in the sun and in the shade. If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxed, friendly hotel a 8 minute stroll from all the shops and restaurants then do not hesitate to book The Oasis! We will definitely be back. Jess and Bex x
