2 star hotel , very basic . Breakfast basic. Room clean but dated and bathroom in need of good cleaning including remaining it was covered in mold 🤮 Location was good if you like your beaches . Being near bus stop 25 means you always get a seat on bus to town

We stayed here and were expecting a large twin room, it's not what we got. No staff to advise where our room was, we were in room 149, right at the top of the complex. I would suggest anyone in rooms 146-152 ask for a room change. We have been to greece many times and have stayed in basic accommodation, this is below basic. We were reallocated a twin room, but the furniture is very dated and needs replacing. Breakfast very basic, we went to the supermarket for croissants and many guests took their own cereals. We only hat hot drinks. Koukanaries is lovely, lots of good restaurants and a nice beach, great bus service €3 into Skiathos. Jet2 need to review this hotel it's definitely not 3 stars, needless to say we would not recommend and will not return.

stayed at muses 30. 8 to 13.9. initial impressions not good. no one bothered to greet us on arrival, even though it was mid afternoon. reception just pointed 'out the door' in the vague direction of the room. had to be shown to room by a cleaner. the adjacent restaurant is very good, reasonably priced but we were plagued by flies (a common fault in skiathos) on the first night not the hotels' fault but nothing was done about it, as other places had fans etc on tables. the room we were given 146 (beware if given this or any up to152?) wasn't the type of room we booked. we eventually moved thanks to Jet2s for their help. the 2nd room was much better, spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom and shower and big balcony. the pool area is nice but not large. the constant poolside music we found grating all day but the bar staff Nancy and Mario are excellent hosts and very friendly and helpful. you have to pay extra for a kettle, fridge and aircon in the room but i think this is mentioned in the brochure. there is a bus stop 50m outside the hotel for skiathos town and all the beaches on the way and some great tavernas in walking distance, Agustera is great for sport and bar food.the Sunset apts 10 mins walk away has a beautiful pool area with comfy sunbeds, nice bar and excellent food,Teo and Pina are wonderful hosts and very friendly. Koukounaries beach is 15 mins walk away but very busy but 18 euros a day for beds maybe off putting for many. in summary i wouldn't dissuade people from visiting Muses but be sure to check your room on arrival to save disappointment from the start 0

Just back from 2 weeks staying at Hotel Muses. This was our 3rd time at this hotel. This is an independent family run hotel, with many of the staff having worked there for over 10 years. The rooms, grounds and public areas are kept very clean. Shower is excellent, always plenty of hot water. There is a good selection for breakfast. The on site Hera restaurant serves lovely meals, and will make additional dishes which aren't on the written menu, if you ask for something specific. Many of the other guests we met go regularly every May and September which is a great recommendation. Thanks for a lovely holiday Maroulla and team.

If I could give zero stars, I would, but unfortunately, that's not an option. The rooms are very basic. We had stains and bugs all over the bed mould all in the wardrobe and what looked like poo all over the curtains we did try to leave the hotel but everything was booked solid the pictures you see in the brochure look nothing like the room you will get take it from me this place is a dump lots of derelict hotels next door all been empty for years but to be honest you would be better off staying in one can't be any worse than this s__t hole

We booked this hotel as it was a good price for a week in the summer holidays and wanted to visit skiathos. Was slightly worried as some of the reviews were less than complimentary, but absolutely nothing to worry about. Me and my sister travelled here the last week of August. Was welcomed when we walked in by all the staff, and had a easy check in. Our room was lovely, very big, lovely balcony and amazing bathroom with the best shower ive ever had in Greece. The complex has beautiful grounds, a nice pool (it isn't huge) but we used it a few times when we wasn't at the beach. Great pool bar and the evening restaurant Hera was one of our favourite meals of the holiday. Breakfast was provided everyday, fresh eggs, pastries, yoghurt, fruit and tea and coffee. The location is perfect, bus stop 25 is literally outside the entrance, 5 min walk to koukounaries beach and enough restaurants and bars and supermarkets in walking distance. The family and staff who run this place are fantastic and made us feel so welcome. the rooms are not self catering so I took a travel kettle with me and we also paid for the adapter for the fridge. This isn't a luxury hotel, but if you want a traditional family run hotel that makes you feel welcome this is the place for you. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We have just returned from a lovely two weeks here, and can find no faults. Lovely clean room, so peaceful sat on the balcony, rooms dotted around in very pretty gardens. Breakfast adequate, restaurant good. Great staff. Very near bus stop 25. All very clean everywhere, all staff work very hard. We particularly liked Maria on reception, lovely lady. We recommend Cookoonari too, lovely setting, lovely food. The chicken gyros was yum! I hope that next year will see us heading back but being in our eighties we’ll have to see!! Just two things to mention, (1) no handrail on steps from room, I haven’t got good balance so had to hold on to the wall (2) No steps leading into the pool only a ladder, so no way of getting in for disabled people.
