房間不是在網站上圖片顯示的這個房子裏，是在他們後面搭建的房子裏。山裡較陰冷潮濕，我們6月去要開暖氣，衞生間是用快速熱水器，洗澡水很快就熱了，房間大小也還不錯，就是沒有廚房，不提供早餐，要到小鎮上去買吃的。靠近湖邊，周圍環境優美

Booked 3 beds and got three Loughrigg chalets up a little trail from the main house. Firstly its very good value. The place is surrounded by beautiful grounds and a short walk to the lake. The surroundings are gotgeous. Chalets were nice, comfy beds and quiet. Free hot drinks in the main house and all the staff were lovely. As a frequent lakes visitor I cannot believe have never stayed there.

I booked the Superior Room in Scafell Lodge recently and I can only say I’m impressed! The rooms are lovely and the requested view we had was one you could get lost in. Unfortunately I can’t comment on the staff because we didn’t speak to any, however the check in and out style we did was very swift and easy so I can only be pleased regardless. I’m impressed at what the Hall does for young people and the amount of other areas involved with the business! Please excuse the fact my channel style is a bit “out there” for humour but the overall result of our experience was a solid 8.5 / 10 for the whole experience!

I loved this place! I stayed in one of the Loughrigg rooms. It was a small single room but contained everything I needed after a long day of walking. Comfy bed, tea and coffee, a good strong shower! A tv. Everything was very clean, and the room was lovely and quiet. During a heatwave this room was nice and cool too as it’s surrounded by woodland. The lodge was surrounded by fields and it’s a short walk away from the lake. It’s a 20 minute walk into the town, but this wasn’t difficult and the town is busy and noisy so it’s nice to leave it behind in the evening. Parking on site is free. I’m already planning my return trip! Would recommend this place.

I couldn't find a room in one of my normal haunts and found Brathay Hall with a reasonable price for a two night stay in a single room. The main downside is that there is no breakfast provided, I knew this and took a punt. Given the walk / ride into Ambleside this meant wasted time on meals and a walk back on dark roads; I knew this ahead of time but it would put me off a return trip. I stopped in one of the Loughrigg rooms, it was quite basic but comfortable, the shower tray could do with a good clean. Did it represent value for money yes but the downsides would stop me returning.

We booked a Scarfell room which is a lodge with excellent views of Ambleside. Lovely and clean and good decor. We shared a hall with next door. They returned at 1:50am banging the doors and chatting loudly waking us up. Thankfully they never put their TV on. Hardly any sound proofing from neighbours. We were probably just unlucky that we had nosiey neighbours in the night. Would not stay again due to lack of noise barrier.

A beautiful setting however poor lighting in the car park made it difficult to find our lodge.
Didn’t like the musty smell of the room and the reception lobby was quite drabby and dis not look clean.
