Kurzzusammenfassung: Für den Preis ein tolles Hotel, welches zu empfehlen ist. Wir kehren am 08.10. sogar zurück (Hallo liebes Creta Star, wir kommen zurück.). Langfassung: -Empfang: Sehr netter Empfang in optisch ansprechender Lobby. Personal durchweg freundlich, Kommunikation auf Deutsch und Englisch ohne Probleme möglich. -Zimmer/Hotel: Wir haben beim ersten Besuch jetzt leider ein unrenoviertes Zimmer noch bekommen, das ist unter dem Durchschnitt dessen, was das Hotel sonst bietet (deshalb bis zum zweiten Besuch auch „nur“ vier Sterne). Im Winter 24/25 soll jedoch auch der Rest renoviert werden, eine gute Maßnahme. Das Reinigungspersonal war durchweg freundlich und hat gute Arbeit verrichtet. Für den zweiten Besuch haben wir eine Junior Suite gebucht, die sollte bereits renoviert sein. Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Hotel mit gemütlicher Anlage und direktem Zugang zum Meer. -Essen: Frühstücksbuffet und Abendbuffet sind ein Traum. Gefällt der Kaffee beim Frühstück nicht? Dann nach dem Frühstück an die Poolbar, der Kaffee dort ist richtig gut. Die Desserts am Abend sind zudem immer eine 5/5. besonders hervorzuheben ist der Restaurantleiter, der seinen Gastraum immer im Griff hat und super freundlich in jeder Lage bleibt. -Animation: Vielen Dank auch an die Animation. Nie aufdringlich, immer gut gelaunt, das Gespräch am letzten Abend mit einem Animateur ist uns immer noch positiv im Kopf. Freue mich schon, wenn wir ihn am 08.10. wieder sehen.

Unser Zimmer war sehr modern, mit Touchscreens und USB an den Betten. Irgendwelche nicht stören Schilder gehören damit der Vergangenheit an. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Man konnte so ziemlich alles tun und lassen was man wollte, sei es mit Badeklamotten Mittagessen oder gleich 10 Cocktails auf einmal von der Bar wegschleppen oder sich Abends, statts an einen Tisch zu setzen, einfach wieder auf eine Liege werfen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, reichhaltig und extrem griechisch. Wir haben uns jeden Tag mindestens 10 Oliven und dazu Feta und Wein gegönnt. Für die Feinschmecker stand auch jeden Tag ein Pizzabäcker da. Der Pool war total warm und extrem salzig und dafür das dort alle im Pool gesoffen haben, sind die Leute auffällig wenig zur Toilette gegangen 😉 Die Bademeister waren sehr übereifrig und haben bei jeder kleinen Welle das Meer gesperrt, in den letzten 3 Tagen war überhaupt kein Baden möglich. Echt lächerlich für ein Erwachsenenhotel. Die Animation war auch etwas schwach, es war immer irgendwas los aber nichts vernünftiges. Teilweise haben wir uns Abends selbst Musik angemacht, weil häufig absolute Stille an der Bar herrschte. Wir sind auch mit niemandem großartig ins Gespräch gekommen, wie wir es aus anderen Urlauben kennen.

The absolute best charter hotel I’ve ever been to and would absolutely come back next year! Everything from the food, to the staff, to the facilities has been amazing. I would especially like to thank the bartenders Harman and Sukh for their exceptional service at the cinema bar, as well as the older gentleman and the younger guy with glasses (I forgot to note down their names, sadly 😭) at the pool bar. All of the bartenders were super attentive and would have your favorite drink memorized and already started making it as you walked up 🫶. The animation team always put on a great show at the cinema theater and had multiple activities during the day. A big applause to them. As mentioned, we would definitely come back to this hotel as it checks off everything we have been looking for in a hotel. We stayed there for 15 days celebrating our honeymoon, and it has been such a memorable vacation. We’re low-key already looking up dates for next year as we miss it already 🥺. - Melanie Kael

Sehr schönes Erwachsenen Hotel ideal für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Das Hotel liegt außerhalb und ist fernab vom Trubel und Partylärm. Wir hatten eine traumhafte Suite, tip top , sehr modern. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, egal ob an der Rezeption, Bar, Restaurant, Animation...alles wirklich super. Der Hinweis, dass man zum Abendessen in angemessener Kleidung erscheinen sollte, wird auch individuell ausgelegt, manche halten Badeschlappen und Shorts für angemessen ♀️....hat uns aber nicht gestört. Gestört hat jedoch gravierend, dass man morgens früh die Liegen reservieren musste, sonst hatte man Pech. Da gibt es ab 8 Uhr keine freien Plätze mehr. Das war sehr ärgerlich, hier müsste das Hotel eingreifen, klappt woanders ja auch. Aber dies war wirklich der einzige Minuspunkt. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Grundsätzlich ist dieses Hotel eine sehr gute Empfehlung, was aber nicht heißt, das alles perfekt wäre! Eine sehr schöne Garten und Pool Anlage, sehr gutes Allinklusiv Angebot, bei allen Mahlzeiten für jeden etwas dabei, besonders die Leckereien danach sind nicht zu überbieten! Kritisch beurteilen möchten wir die neu renovierten Superior Zimmer, voller Hightech aber keine vernünftige Handtuchhalter für feuchte Handtücher, auch die Nachtkonsolen sind sowas von armselig, keinerlei Ablage- möglichkeiten für persönliche Dinge! Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich, obwohl der Zimmerservice oftmals vor 17.00 Uhr nicht fertig war. Das Animationsteam war freundlich und bemüht, in erster Linie aber für die junge Generation! Ein schöner Urlaub für Erwachsene, endlich mal Ruhe und kein Kinderspielplatz im Speisesaal, wir würden gerne wieder kommen!

Just returned from a lovey relaxing holiday with my sister at this hotel. The hotel is great, really spacious and right on the beach. Hotel and rooms are really clean, great food, fun entertainment from animation team and friendly staff. There are a choice of bars to sit in the evening both with great views of the sea or you can visit the club for entertainment by the animation team. There was nothing not to like at this hotel, great holiday.

I would totally reccomend this hotel for anyone that wants relaxing holidays.The hotel is quiet old but there are also renovated rooms. It is 15minutes drive to Rethymno city so you can go there for a walk and a fancy dinner. A special thanks to Christine that went above and beyond to meet our expectations and truly cared about our needs!

Hôtel ne méritant pas 5 étoiles! Chambre vieillot, meubles usés, douche recouvert de calcaire, grille d'évacuation d'eau rouillé... Repas bons mais répétitifs, et peu de spécialités Crétoise. Les cocktails, les softs, les vins, le café, de mauvaise qualité, imbuvable. Animations de camping (fléchettes, quizz musical...), décevant pour un 5*. Piscine intérieure non chauffée, fermeture à 18h30 de la piscine extérieure. Seuls points positifs, l'extérieur est jolie et bien entretenu. L'hôtel à sa plage privée avec accès directe. Les chats ont leurs bols de croquettes et de l'eau à disposition. Arrêt de bus devant l'hôtel, mais hormis 3 boutiques il n'y a absolument rien aux alentours. Le personnel est aimable, mais pas vraiment souriant. Nous n'avons pas apprécié notre séjour au Creta Star Hôtel, nous n'y reviendrons pas
