The location is terrible, in a 4th rate town and on the outskirts of town, far from everywhere, no services. The bill was wrong. I will not stay in this place again.

The staff were great at check in and out. Very helpful and friendly. The room was huge, like an entire apartment. Very restful and relaxed, it was a shame to only stay one night.

Nice friendly staff in a good location (10 minutes walk into town),Rooms a little dated but clean with a strange glass bathroom .The restaurant breakfast is very good and bar area is nice in the evening, I would recommend this Hotel if the price stays low.

We stayed for the weekend and found the location convenient for the places we wanted to visit. It's only 30/40 minutes to Canterbury from there. We found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant was very light and well maintained. The rooms are very average and in need of a spruce up but the bed was comfy and it was very quiet to sleep. The lighting and plumbing were frustrating! The main lights are operated by a weird switch by the door. It took a while to master which switch was best. The toilet flush was absolutely useless! The instructions said to press and hold but no matter how long we held it, it rarely flushed anywhere near fully! The bath/shower water wasn't obvious either. I don't know why hotels insist on trying to make things 'fancy' when simplicity works so much better!!! It didn't spoil our stay.
