We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - big rooms, quiet atmosphere, nice hot tub, within walking distance of downtown. Free breakfast was okay but there's Happy Coffee nearby.

I had to search for new accommodations when my regular place closed unexpectedly. I found Country House Resort online and decided to give them a try. I loved everything about it. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, and the grounds very beautifully kept. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We didn't try the pool and hot tub, but only because it was raining. I give Country House an excellent rating, and it is my new go to place to stay when I head north a couple times a year.

I loved this place! All the comforts of home. I especially liked the Nature Trail that you can take into the village. Walked this every day down by the lake. The room was immaculate. 2 beds that were very comfortable, 3 televisions, even a sky light that was retractable! The loft was amazing. If you get a second story room, then you will have an awesome view of the lake. Breakfast is served every morning! They even have a pickle ball court that we played at every day. You won't be disappointed here.

This place sits on some lovely acreage and overlooks the bay. The area is quiet and rooms were quite nice. They are finishing up some renovations and the updates are just perfect. Breakfast on the weekends, while not fancy, was definitely filling. During the week it's grab and go breakfast, but with good options, some to heat up in the microwave, some cold breakfast options. Fruit was always available. You can walk to town on the road or get there on the path through the forest. We walked to a lot of places in town from this spot. The staff was so friendly and nice, too!

I wasn’t happy that the place was still under construction and was not aware of this because it wasn’t stated in the disclosure. This is the second time I go to a place that’s under construction and not told this and not disclosed.

I loved the peaceful atmosphere of the place! We were looking for a weekend to relax and we found it! Great room, great staff and great place to get away!
