Oh Apartments & Rooms

Look, it’s a reasonable place to stay outside the main areas of Ljubljana. The rooms are modern, nice and big and we really liked the addition of the kettle in the room for tea in the mornings. The bed was comfortable and clean The shower clean and lots of hot water. We didn’t come by car but arrived by rail and I just wanted to warn other travellers coming, not to take taxi like we did. It was a weekend and no other option but the black cabs outside. They charged us an outrageous 20 euros for the trip. 5 euro for each bag, plus 5 for the journey. It leaves a bad taste and bad first impression when you arrive in this country. And by the way, no Uber alternative. Not yet anyway.

It's a good accommodation option in Ljubljana, especially if you come by car, as it offers free parking and easy access from the highway. The contact person (Rok) was very helpful and the communication went very good. Our room was big, clean and nice. There is also a common kitchen. The area is good, next to Rivoli Park and at a walkable distance from the city centre. There are good food options around. The place is on a very busy street but the noise from the cars didn't bother too much, probably thanks to the good quality windows.
